Works as advertised. With the re-emergence of KBC in the US, it introduced a very small helmet line. Along with it, a small inventory of smoked shields. Finally hunting one down that was in stock at Revzilla, I made the purchase. It works great on sunny days and the VR4R shield mechanism makes it easy to do swaps. Tip: don't hesitate to buy if you find a smoked shield...you might miss out on the opportunity. December 31, 2012

Not as dark as you'd think. I bought the dark tint shield hoping to get a really dark shield but I was a bit disappointed with how light the tint was. I'd say that this is more of a light dark tint rather than dark tint. It's still a nice product and pretty cheap. Way better than a normal clear shield. February 27, 2012

If it will fit my helmet, do you offer a package deal for the pinlock shield & insert together? Or will I be forced to buy each piece separately?

If it will not fit my helmet, do you carry a clear replacement shield for the VR1 Euro?
