I've bought a KBC dark smoke before and it was extremely dark to where you could ride with the sun in your face easily. This one though is closer to light smoke. It'll have to do since the only other choice is the chrome and I don't know if it's darker. It's a real let down since the VR I ball is such a nice helmet and I have this inadequate visor.

No, I do not recommend this product.
