used my revzilla bucks from a helmet purchase towards these for commuting. i wouldn't pay list for these.... minimal protection (ie. no carbon fiber knuckles) but would save from road rash.
comfortable and the lobster covers do keep my hand warm down to about mid-high 40s for am commutes and easily tuck into the pouch on the back of the glove for the warm commute home. thumbs can still get chilly though since no cover for them. decent venting, comfortable enough up to 80deg. construction is 'ok', some loose threads that make me wonder how long it will last.
good option if you want just 1 glove for commuting/wide temperature range. if you have the money, probably best to have nice leather gloves for cold weather and another warm weather pair.
