Very nice product Fit is great. Ordered L (reg), I'm 6' 2", 210 lbs. It keeps me worm during my commute even in temp close to freezing. Nice style, I wear it around the office sometimes. Air flow is pretty good. All the comments about the zipper are true, but it really takes a couple of times to break it down and "learn" how to zip it up in one motion. I would buy it again. Great Base Layer Sweater I bought this to keep me extra warm during the winter. This is a very nice pull over sweater that does a good job blocking wind. It has been a very nice addition to my motorcycle clothing. Plus is comes with the Coat Hanger. January 19, 2013
Joe Rocket Full Blast Layer I bought this for cold weather riding. I am 5' 9", 215 lbs and the Large size fits me great. The collar is soft and works well under my Teknic jacket. I rode today at -3 C / 26 F with a wicking layer under the Full Blast, (under my jacket with thermal liner of course) and I was not cold at 105 kph / 65 mph. March 26, 2012
Finally some reasonably priced motorcycle-cut middle layer fleece! The Joe Rocket Full Blast met my expectations. I am 6' 230# and the XL fits comfortably snug with a base layer on. Under my jacket it doesn't feel bulky. I've only been on a couple cool weather rides since it arrived and I was kept warm for both. The thumb holes are a nice touch. The longer sleeves and higher collar are the features I was looking for in a motorcycle-cut fleece. The offset zipper while a cool feature is my only gripe. Like other reviewers have said, for some reason the zipper keeps catching when trying to zip up. I think it is the odd pull angle. I'm still able to zip up and down but the up requires 2 or 3 attempts. It is worth noting this wouldn't stop me from buying another one. March 12, 2012
Excellent for layering under jackets Wanted to use this for a couple of months before I gave my opinion. This is not the most technical, warmest or best wind blockage underlayment garment out there, but for the price, it can't be beat. Very comfortable & true to size. Is thin enough to wear under jackets (leather & textile) without bulking up and still provide lots of mobility in all kinds of riding conditions. Sleeve length & body length are perfect while in riding position and even off the bike. The tall collar is long enough to peek out from under my jacket collar and provide my neck with extra protection & warmth. I like the wide opening the zipper provides for easy on & off. Doesn't feel like I'm putting a condom over my head. The zipper could be a little better quality though, but it works fine once you get the hang of it. I only wear this as an outer layer if it's in the high 60's to mid 70's. Like I said it's not great at blocking wind. All in all, an excellent value and great addition to my riding wardrobe. great mid layer for colder weather Got this fleece to wear under my summer jacket as it colder (i.e. around 50 degrees) - it worked perfectly, it's not too thick, but still provides nice insulation. It looks great and fits true to size. Would recommend. November 15, 2011
Good but not great Let's talk about the bad things first: 1. The side zipper is a headache to zip up. Not sure whether it is the quality of the zipper they used or the awkward position of the zipper itself. It is just hard to zip up. Unzipping is no problem. 2. The stretchy materials is a magnet for pet hair or any kind of hair. 3. The torso is a bit small. I ordered an XL but it felt like an L. The sleeves is definitely true to size. The good things: 1. The styling is awesome. 2. It's a very warm layer. Works as intended. 3. The thumb hole keeps the layer in place when you are layering up. 4. Very flexible materials used. Felt like a wet suit. All and all, it's a decent layer. That side zipper is an annoyance. September 28, 2011
