Jensen Audio has made rocking some tunes on your rig ultra easy. Their Plug and Play Stereo hits all the right notes! Its 'plug and play' design means no hacking up your factory harness, no wiring - none of the headaches that accompany most head unit swaps. The unit is also mechless. Mechless designs are the latest method of stereo construction - they have zero moving parts. Without moving parts to break, the radio becomes largely impervious to weather, or the characteristic Harley vibrations that are able to kill inferior audio systems. There are no special mounting kits or brackets - just plug everything in, drop it into your fairing, and go! Anyone who has replaced a factory Harley radio also knows that you usually lose your handlebar function when making the swap. With Jensen's unit, that's no longer a concern - your factory handlebar controls operate as designed.

Jensen HD1BT Bluetooth Stereo For Harley Touring 1998-2013
Good replacement for the stock stereo
The stereo was easy to install. I also got the USB/Aux pigtail, which was also fairly easy to install. The Blue Tooth works well, but takes a little time to setup correctly. It sounds great and all functions work with my handle bar controls. I am disappointed in the power output though. This unit is suppose to have 50x4 watts output, but I can barely hear it at 75MPH (normal Texas speed limit). Overall a good stereo though.

Install was easy and all around happy with radio. Bluetooth works fairly well and Sat radio works well with antenna installed under fairing out of sight. The only thing keeps it from 5 stars is they could have come up with better navigation controls. Also can't just hold volume up or down to increase or decrease. you have to hit multiple times to raise up or down from handle bar controls.

Great product, and no issues.
I love the radio, very easy to install. Takes
About an hour. The sound is great! Bluetooth
Streaming works great as well. Very user
Friendly, I now need to add an amp. And
From the looks of things that should be very
Easy. All the connection are there for you.
Thanks Revzilla! l'm happy with the purchase.

William M B:Yes, you need to purchase the 'SXV200 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner' which is the latest version and includes antenna. It allows you to get the extra SiriusXM channels! I am sure the 'SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner' would work as well, but you lose the extra channels. Easy to plug in and deck of cards size makes it easy to stow away in my road glide fairing.May 24, 2014
RL V:Auxiliary Amps use a "line out" signal as an input and this stereo has RCA plugs for that purpose (hooking to an amp). I would comfortably connect to an amp to mine (although I do not have an amp in my current installation).
BTW: I love this stereo BUT it does not have the automatic volume reduction when you slow down like the old one and I miss that. Just FYI
Bennie H:Yes, my volume goes up and down at hi and low Speed. You can also control the volume with the Bluetooth turn on though your I phone. The sound Is great with after market speaker and amp. The Handle bar controls all work very well also. I hope this help good luck..Aug 12, 2014
A shopper asked:I have an 03 Ultra with rear speakers and I'm not sure from the video, how to install the rear speakers with the included pigtail. Can you explain what needs to be done to hook up the pre-wired rears?Aug 27, 2014
Ivan T:Need to clarify about Ultras which has some extras compared to just Classics. "The radio will fit and work fine like on other touring models (HD touring stereo/radios are the same), but to make the rear speakers work need to use the pigtail that is included and splice into the second 23 pin harness (Grey connector) and find the speaker wires. Also, the intercom and CB do not work with our radio." That's the reply I got when contacted Revzilla. It would be helpful if Revzilla mentioned this in the overwiev and may be even better made a video about connecting rear speakers. I just bought Jensen for my Ultra '10, waiting to get my hands on it. Biketronics has some good stereos with Retro harness to replace HD radio, also easy to install, they also claim CB and Intercom works with their set up, but their marine and car stereo heads just look ugly on HD.Jan 5, 2015
Edward E. C:This radio is installed on my 1999 electra glide ultra classic. My tech at the Harley dealer says its plug and play. I can use my handle bar controls. Can't say if it will work with your ride. Contact Jensen through their web site. One important note....It says its Sirius xm ready..BUT.. you have to buy the xm receiver seperatley. Its a small unit that plugs into the back of the radio. Hope this helps.Feb 21, 2015
Bart W:This radio is NOT plug and play for the factory rear speakers, you have to scab into the wiring harness and hook up the pig tail that comes with the radio. Got that right from JensenJan 20, 2015
A shopper asked:I have a Harley 2008 FLHTCU...Does everything work with the Jensen drop in radio replacement. Does the navigation work??? Also does the intercom work with this Jensen radio??? Ok last one. Does the cb ie bike to bike work?? I have the iPod, CB, and XM Modules to and a factory Harley AMP All with harley factory connections. Will all these items work with this Jensen radio??? I appreciate your time. I've had it with the Harley H/K radio. Repaired twice and still has vibration syndrome.....KenApr 6, 2015
