Interphone F5X T Stereo 3.0 Bluetooth Intercom - Single Pack

The Interphone F5XT is the first Bluetooth Intercom to be released with advanced intercom features. Up to 6 F5XT's can be connected to extend intercom range to up to a mile. The frustration of hearing mysterious beep tones has been eliminated with the Text to Speech (TTS) feature of the F5XT. TTS gives audible voice indications when the intercom connects, disconnects, music plays or pauses, and when a phone call is incoming. The F5XT TTS feature will also tell you who is calling so you can avoid answering the call if desired. Bluetooth 3.0 technology gives the F5XT the longest battery life of any Bluetooth intercom to date.

The Interphone F5XT features a host of audio options. The hi-fi stereo speakers provide great sound quality for music and intercom. Each F5XT kit includes a 3.5mm audio cable for connection to non-Bluetooth audio devices. A2DP stereo Bluetooth allows high quality music streams from your stereo Bluetooth device to the F5XT. The remote control profile allows you to control playback remotely from the F5XT (with notifications from the headset TTS system). Music functionality is further expanded with the F5XT's built-in FM radio.

The Interphone F5XT features the most advanced phone options available. Incoming and outgoing calls can be controlled by voice, incoming calls are also announced as the F5XT can read caller information, so there are no surprises when you answer. Multipoint technology also allows two phones to be connected simultaneously (if you have a business and personal line). Advanced DSP algorithms make calls at freeway speeds sound as good as calls made in the living room.

Features:

  • Pairs in full duplex with up to 5 other headsets for full duplex intercom
  • Can be used with all previous versions of the Interphone (F4, F3, F2 and original Interphone)
  • Can pair to any smartphone for music, GPS and phone calls. The F5XT also can sync with your phone book for spoken caller id
  • Adjusts the speaker volume based on the noise level detected by the microphone. (Note: It may be necessary to disable this feature on full face helmets to obtain full volume.)
  • Pairs with popular motorcycle GPS systems for voice guidance
  • Rechargeable lithium ion battery lasts up to 11 hours while the F5XT is in use
  • Features stereo speakers which provide clean loud audio
  • A2DP and Bluetooth 3.0 insure the highest quality audio connection
  • AVRCP profile allows the rider to play pause and control tracks from the headset
  • Optional handlebar remote
  • FM Radio features 8 station memory and RDS for spoken station identification
  • Battery can last up to 700 hours of standby when not in use
  • Text to speech eliminates beep tones and replaces them with easy to understand voice prompts

Worth the Money First off – this is my first Revzilla purchase and it gets a 5 Star F5 Cons: - No Voice To Text for text messages, knew this a head of time but with all the features it has this would have been nice - Hands Free Mode on the phone (Samsung Note 3) does not seem to work when enabled. It has its own voice response system but I would like to use my phones. - Selecting some of the features in the menu, if done wrong, IE) not hold the button long enough takes you into intercom mode. Can get a little frustrating having to start again. - Wanted to get the remote but the F5 can only support 2 Bluetooth devices, GPS and Phone take up those sadly. F5 Neither Con nor Pro: - Volume button should be on the top and bottom not the side, can forget which one is + and - - Auto volume, good try but disabled it on day 2 F5 Pro: - Easy install in my Shoe GT-AIR - Music was clear at 102-130 KMH/75-80MPH - Talking on phone call great at city speeds - Speakers, small, good sound fit in the helmet great. Takes a couple of rides to get them placed just right April 22, 2014
Works great Easier to install that I thought it would be, I'm just using an enduro helmet. The audio quality I hear isn't as good as I'd like, but it may be the helmet I use right now. When on the phone the person on the other end indicates the quality is great and don't even know I'm on a bike. March 24, 2014
i like it i got this one because lots of bikers got it in my group , i have to say its little bit complicated when you try to sync 5 or 6 together, i used it on my AGV rp60 open helmet , installation was very easy very simple , sound is good , music is good , i actually didn't expect it to sound that good ,the only problem i had was the mic foam thingy flew away out of the mic , so i guess its better to use like a drop of glue to keep it in its place , and the package came with spare one so everything is good :D December 7, 2013
Great product does exactly what it meant to do with perfection Works great and is just what I have been looking for October 28, 2013
Interphone F5 XT Revzilla, what to say about these guys, customer service shipping/delivery top notch. Now about Interphone F5 XT: This is my first Bluetooth Intercom for motorcycle. This is awesome product. The sound quality is great. Phone conversation is so clear, other end of the caller cannot make out I am riding the bike. It reads out the Text messages very clearly and you can call back the same number or text back just by speaking. Very easy to use the Interphone controls with the gloves on. The price is on the higher side but you don’t regret once you start using it. The quality of the Interphone F5XT is great. October 3, 2013
More Money, but More Product Putting the intercom on my helmet was a little difficult. I believe it was more because of my helmet but I was able to make it work and it fits almost perfectly in it. The directions of putting it in your helmet and the controls to the interphone were lacking details. You have to experiment with it on your own but it only took me a few hours to get everything down. The price of this was not cheap but the extra features make up for it. If you are listening to music and you receive a call or text it will let you know the person who is calling or sending the text. It gives you the options to answer, ignore or read. If it is a text you can even reply by just answering commands and talking. The speakers are quite large in size, but are flat so they really don't mess with space in your helmet. While they can't be compared to $300 earbuds, they do have some bass and can get loud. The only negative with that is on highways it is perfect volume but if you have music on you need to turn it down quite a bit to hear people talking to you unless you want to work on your lip reading skills. Pros: -all the bells and whistles you could ask for. -loud enough for highway travel and decent bass. -small enough you can barely tell it is in your helmet. Cons: -Sometimes it can be too loud. -Directions to install and instructions on controls to work it provide minimal details. -depending on gloves, I can see how the controls could be difficult to work Overall: If you have the money and you want the extras than this is what you are looking for. You get what you pay for. July 5, 2013

A shopper asked: I am looking into a bluetooth stereo intercom system for my BMW K1600GTL. Looking for a system for the audio, navigation and to my iPhone. Using the multifunction controller on the motorcycle would be nice for volume control but not necessary. Trying to see what other options are available besides the pricey BMW Motorrad communication system. Has anybody out there used the interphone with their BMW motorcycle? Dec 8, 2013

Christopher A: I have the Interphone F5 which I use on my BMW S1000RR, but I assume the K1600 has an on-board communications system. I am sure the Interphone will be compatible with it as long as it's bluetooth. Would recommend the F5 - it's the only comm device that announces caller ID so you don't have to look down at your phone. Also much better sound quality than the Uclear I bought at CycleGear. After 6 months of use, I would still buy the F5 if I have to do it over again. Dec 9, 2013

Nicola S: I have a beemer - 2013GSA. This system works great with my iPhone 5. I have not hooked up navigation; because I just us the TomTom iTunes app for the iPhone. Navigation works simultaneously... allowing me to answer the phone and or listen to Pandora. This Bluetooth works flawlessly and has a great battery life - highly recommend it. Took me about 10hrs of riding to get comfortable with the controls and voice activation, but after that your golden! Dec 9, 2013
