4 Month Review
I am a daily rider and I have used this bag almost every day for the last 4 months. I have not ridden in the rain. What you see in the images is simply wear and tear. I originally was very excited about the bag but after the damage, I was disappointed in Icon. I carry a 13in Macbook Pro, Ibuprofen, ball cap, my Mophie phone charger, and neck warmer. I have been able to use the product just fine but if I have gotten this amount of damage already I'm not sure how much longer it will last. I would recommend this bag if you are planning on using it every now and then but not as a daily rider bag.

Great construction, most importantly fits my bulky 15.6 inch Lenovo work laptop.
Pros:
Great construction
Plenty of room for work stuff
Fits my bulky work laptop.
Great weight distribution.

Con:
Wish the front chest closures were a bit easier to snap. Have to fiddle with them a bit to get them to snap closed.

This has everything I wanted in a riding pack
This has everything I wanted in a riding pack. It surprisingly fits everything I need it to from my laptop to my gym clothes. I ride a sports bike and this backpack takes a ton on strain off my neck and back. Highly recommended. The only thing I didn't love about the pack is the plastic clips they used for the chest straps.

Awfull
I was so pumped for this backpack for riding and the first time I took it out the whole bottom left strap ripped right out of the stitching I'm usually a huge icon fan but never again I would have rathered flushed the 100$ then spend it on this and have it fall apart on me in the first use

Awesome Backpack
This is a beast of a backpack. Seems like it is super tough and should last. It's small and lightweight but big enough to fit my 15.6 inch laptop perfectly. use it for back and forth trips to work and the gym or overnighters.

Excellent choice if you don't need a lot of storage space
I've ridden about 600-800 miles with this backpack now and I must say it feels great on the back - very sturdy with the two front clips done up.

Pros: "water resistant" >>>In my experience with 30 mins of pouring down rain it is waterproof. Perhaps they didn't quite call it waterproof because it takes an hour or maybe a couple hours to soak through? I can't be sure but I can tell you this. After 30 mins of pouring rain, I took it off and visually looked it over and I couldn't even see a DROP of rain on it! The exterior was literally dry to the touch.
Veclro ID holders - they stay stuck on quite well.
The zippers are BIG - definitely going to stand the test of time for durability!
The walls of the backpack are very thick with multiple layers - I don't see this falling apart any time soon.

Cons:
Very small in size - you really can't fit much more than the bare necessities in this bag IMO but that is no reason to give it less than a 5 star rating as that is how it was designed and advertised. I would like to see more depth inthe bag to allow thicker items to fit.
-Also be careful when clipping the front clips together because.....while fiddling with the clips hands-only (helmet was on and couldn't look down and see the clips), I guess I tried jamming them together at an angle and one of the center plastic teeth completely snapped off. Thankfully, it did not hinder the clip from functioning overall but it was disappointing to have that happen only a few days after I got the backpack. BUT AGAIN I SAY THIS IS MY FAULT, NOT THE BACKPACK's. DONT JAM THINGS IN SIDEWAYS AND YOU SHOULDN't HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT!

Overall I am very pleased to say this is my first official riding backpack - I'm really going to love the water resistant feature :D

made just for us...
this bag goes far beyond a standard backpack for the riding applications. ive come to love some features, like the wallet/ID holder, large shoulder straps that make taking it on and off easy, and just the overall design. it is however slim which makes fitting some medium sized things a nightmare. my only other complaint is the lack of small pockets. you get 2 large compartments (one has a divider net in it) and one small pocket.
but just a day ride,or bumming around town this bag is killer!

When I was looking for backpacks online, I was looking for a nice tight fit one, and this is the one for me. It has high vis strips, so people can see me. (I have no other high vis) so it was something. And overall it just feels nice.

I have owned a lot of Icon gear, and it has all held up well. I needed a form fitting bag, and this seemed to fit the bill well. Held up ok to daily use for a while, but the liner ripped out after about 9 months. The water resistant zippers also started having trouble over time, with fraying and catching. The bag is still usable, but probably won't hold up to weather at this point. Still a great bag overall
Ricardo S on Oct 18, 2014
Needed a better bag for going back and forth to work and doing over-nighters at the girlfriends. this bag has the awesome compartments up front to store my phone for music.

Joshua C on Feb 28, 2014
Needed a cool bag for everyday riding to work, and short trips to places or an overnight stay somewhere. Wanted to be able to stow it away very easily. Had a hard time choosing, but I think this is the bag for me. May get a bigger bag for longer trips as well.
Luke H on Feb 14, 2014
Before I got my current bike (2011 Victory Vision) I didnt have any cargo capacity at all so I got this bag. I like the look of it, the little splashes of reflective tape, and it seemed pretty well made. BUT!!!! you can hardly fit anything in it. It doesnt expand very much at all. Couldnt even pack my heavy duty hoodie in it.
C O on Feb 12, 2014

CAN YOU FIT A RIDING JACKET IN THE MAIN POUCH?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Tight fit unless you don't have to worry about too much armor....
I'm looking into getting this pack but I'm wondering if I would be able to put a hydration blatter system into it. This is the biggest issue with my current one do to the lack of. If not can you point me in the direction of one that can and has ample storage? Much thanks
Josh M on Aug 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Physically a hydration blatter fits inside however there no cutout for the water tube. As far a ample storage this backpack fits a laptop and one or two box on top of that. Very limited of storage.
For commuting, can you fit laptop, iPad, lunch and shoes in this pack (all at once)?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I actually tried this out for you. Technically, a laptop (Lenovo Yoga), a tablet (Sony Experia), shoes (loafers or light athletic shoes) and a light lunch WILL fit in the bag but it's going to be pretty full at that point, and not particularly light. Don't expect to get too much else in it.
HI, I'm interested in getting this pack for myself, however I want to make sure my laptop fits as it's a 17". It's pretty slim at 2cm so it won't take up too much depth, but I was wondering if the inside pocket could accommodate something between 28.5cm-30.5cm? Would you please help me out with this? Thanks!
Jeanine A on Dec 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jeanine I don't have an actual 17" laptop to check but I measured the bag and it looks tight. It takes a 15.6" with ease though. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful and hope that helps.
Description states an "external loading strap for helmet or jacket" - this is the selling point for me. I assume is that vertical buckle strap in the middle on the back, but that looks low. If I strap my helmet onto this, will it bounce around on my lower back when I walk, or is the entire helmet secured to the bag?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the vertical buckle strap is supposedly for that purpose. (There are no other attachment points that would work.) However, there doesn't seem to be a good way to prevent a helmet from bouncing around if used that way. [Likewise, it's not that good for securing a coat, either.] After having used it, I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't come up with a better system.
Does this product have a convenient holster for drinks or bottles? Ideally something like those found on some non-motorcycle casual backpacks, with a simple nylon mesh and elastic band on the side for convenience. I've found this feature to be one of my favorites. Thanks.
Michael C on Nov 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: None at all, this backpack is very compact and offers very little in the way of attaching external items such as water bottles.
How does the external tie down system work/look like?
A shopper on Jun 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It just clips over a jacket or object. Works great for rain gear or jacket. Not so much for shopping or larger solid items
How does the exterior tie down system work/look like?
A shopper on Jun 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It snaps/clicks together across the chest area. It looks bad ass. I love this bag
Will you be able to fit school stuff in it? I am going to a community college and I want to make sure this will be big enough for notebooks, folders and a lunch.
Sam K on Jun 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Those items listed will fit fine.
why only in black? Video seems to have another color option…...
A shopper on Oct 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Check out the mil-spec version.
