Awesome backpack Way to go Icon. I love this backpack. It's extremely streamline and can hold just enough for my everyday commute. Wouldn't recommend for anyone that wants to go on a long trip and has to pack a lot of things. Wish the backpack had a little more give to it to pack some more stuff in it but I still love it all the same. I love the reflectivity of the zippers and on the clips and side panels. Would highly recommend for anyone that wants a backpack that doesn't make you look like a hunchback rolling down the street. . May 13, 2013
Fits great Very nice snug fit Sleek look but you have to pay for it in the amount it can hold. I fit a change of clothes and a hoody in mine comfortably anything else you'll have to squeeze in May 9, 2013
Worth the price! If you use a regular backpack instead of a motorcycle backpack you are doing yourself an injustice. I like when I wear this backpack there isn't anything weighing me down, I carry a 15 inch laptop and everything i'll need for the day and the backpack fits snug and commfortable. May 6, 2013
Well thought out design, looks fantastic! The bag has two well thought out compartments. I use my bike to get to every place and the bag fits my needs perfectly. I am able to fit in everything I need for my day including things for university and work, and the design allows me to keep everything organized and get to the things I need to when I want them. It looks fantastic, almost like an army vest from the front. I have taken it for about 500 Km's and it sits on the body as if it isn't there, and has no noticeable effects in poor weather conditions. Looked around for a long time to find a quality bag, that suited my needs, and looked great!!! Look no further, this is the bag! April 8, 2013
Great Bag for everyday use I bought this bag because I was tired of using a regular backpack while I ride. This bag feels very comfortable and fits nicely. The velcro ID holders are very convenient and allows you to keep your bag on while filling up gas or checkpoints. This bag will hold a laptop and maybe a binder for those who are planning on buying this bag for school or just carrying things around. Overall this bag is well built and would suggest this to everyone. April 8, 2013
Great backpack with some interesting features that make it very versitile Material seems very durable, and has great visibility at night. All zippers and pockets are in the right place but storage is limited. The upside is that it is far from bulky and even when empty, it stays close to the rider. The two Velcro ID holders on the shoulder strap are a nice touch. I use one side to Velcro my EZPass which works perfect at tolls. I leave my wallet in one chest pocket and my iphone in the other. My only complaint are the large chest buckles that require precise contact to secure them, but at only $100 I consider this a bargain. April 1, 2013
Excellent choice if you don't need a lot of storage space I've ridden about 600-800 miles with this backpack now and I must say it feels great on the back - very sturdy with the two front clips done up. Pros: "water resistant" >>>In my experience with 30 mins of pouring down rain it is waterproof. Perhaps they didn't quite call it waterproof because it takes an hour or maybe a couple hours to soak through? I can't be sure but I can tell you this. After 30 mins of pouring rain, I took it off and visually looked it over and I couldn't even see a DROP of rain on it! The exterior was literally dry to the touch. Veclro ID holders - they stay stuck on quite well. The zippers are BIG - definitely going to stand the test of time for durability! The walls of the backpack are very thick with multiple layers - I don't see this falling apart any time soon. Cons: Very small in size - you really can't fit much more than the bare necessities in this bag IMO but that is no reason to give it less than a 5 star rating as that is how it was designed and advertised. I would like to see more depth inthe bag to allow thicker items to fit. -Also be careful when clipping the front clips together because.....while fiddling with the clips hands-only (helmet was on and couldn't look down and see the clips), I guess I tried jamming them together at an angle and one of the center plastic teeth completely snapped off. Thankfully, it did not hinder the clip from functioning overall but it was disappointing to have that happen only a few days after I got the backpack. BUT AGAIN I SAY THIS IS MY FAULT, NOT THE BACKPACK's. DONT JAM THINGS IN SIDEWAYS AND YOU SHOULDN't HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT! Overall I am very pleased to say this is my first official riding backpack - I'm really going to love the water resistant feature :D March 8, 2013

Is the black backpack also made out of reflective material, or only the mil spec versions?

Answer:
This back pack has reflective piping on the zipper pulls, staps and shoulders, but is not completely reflective like the Mil-Spec.

Answer:
It has reflective material on the zippers, clip straps and on the side panels. It's highly reflective. My buddies have said it looks pretty cool riding behind me at night.

As I watched the video I was wondering is the back pack water proof or resistant? I know it was commented about the zipper. Like the look of the bag as well for the price any info.

Answer:
The Icon Squad 3 Backpack is only water resistant. It is not waterproof. Whether or not a bag is waterproof, we suggest using an aftermarket dry bag to protect anything that can be damaged by water.

Answer:
I used it on one rain storm for about 30 minutes and everything was bone dry. A similar rain would have soaked through the backpack it replaced. I cant say that it is waterproof, but it is very resistant.

Answer:
Darkensvt, I have ridden about 6-800 miles with this backpack thus far, 70% of that being during rainfall of varying extremes (dang northwest climate....) and my experience is that it is waterproof.

The most I have ridden consecutively in the rain thus far is about 30 minutes (highway speeds) and it was a moderate-to-heavy rainfall and at the end of that ride, literally the first thing I did was take the pack off and visually inspect it to see how the "water resistant" feature proved......well I am very happy to say that not only was the inside 100% dry but even the exterior of the bag was DRY TO THE TOUCH! The water just bounces right off....It is possible that after several hours of constant rainfall it MIGHT soak through, but I can only speculate on that regard.
