R Benjamin K:There are 3 different pockets you can put the knee pads in. My inseam is about 31 and I feel that the pad in the pocket for the shortest position still rides a little below my knee.Dec 14, 2013
Barry M:They are removable from the inside in their velcro-secured pocket. There is a considerable amount of play while in place; not too much but enough to allow you to shift the curved pads higher or lower to fit your position.Dec 15, 2013
Rob B:I've only been caught in rain twice in these pants and I've gotten wet each time. It seems like the main part of the pants are waterproof or at least resistant but there is a stretchy fabric that runs around the knees and inner thigh. This fabric is not waterproof and allows water in. I really like the pants but you can count on getting wet in any precip more than a light sprinkle. I ended up getting the Revit Pacific H20 rain suit to help out on rainy days. The overlords are great for dry days. Aug 26, 2013
Anselm E:Not too bad, but that picture is a fairly accurate representation. It's a bit silvery, 'cause it's nylon and that tends to be a bit shiny, but it works.
Tend to run big. My jeans are normally a bit tight at 36, so wear a 38. Gotta pair of 34s in these, and they're a bit snug going on over the jeans, but fit well once they're on. Also: long. WIll drag when you're walking, but hike up just right on the bike.Jan 2, 2014
Dustiin H:I'd say 500d would be the thickest if that. It's a complete nylon chassis, fairly lightweight but if worn as an overpant they should provide plenty of protection compared to just wearing jeans. I'm liking them so far however I will say they are a bit slippery on my Corbin seat...Sep 27, 2013
