With all the pattern engineering of the Overlord leather, but executed in a mesh chassis, the Overlord Sportbike SB1 represents possibly the best value in textile motorcycle jackets. The durable mesh chassis provides valuable protection while maintaining comfort. External molded plastic armor increases the level of protection while a full complement of internal CE impact protectors confirm the jacket’s legitimacy. Finally, the Overlord’s precurved arms and strategic flex zones position the rider in a sportbike-oriented attack posture. The Overlord Sportbike SB1 Mesh–ready for whatever the streets may hold.

Style with great cost Overall good product, but it could use a few more pockets. Full liner would be nice. Protection is great, but don't know about durability yet because it's only been used on one 1,800 mile ride. Like the swirl design and the visibility is great with the green color. Armor stays put. There was no chafing or rubbing anywhere. Fits true to size. Liner worked good in tempuratures down to the 50's. Without a windshield you can stay cool in 100+ temps. Fourteen year old son is jealous and wants one now. July 26, 2014
AWESOME JACKET This is a fantastic warm and hot weather jacket. The attack fit is perfect for sport bike riding. The pre shaped arms and extended back are just what the doctor ordered. The fit is snug but very comfortable without restricting movement. This minimalist jacket allow TONS of air flow while offering all the protection of much heavier jackets. I plan to upgrade the back protection just to have the best I can to be protected. This is not a cool or cold weather jacket at all. Even with the liner in, the sleeves allow a lot of airflow. I wore it for the first time and thought I would zip it all the way up with the liner in and see how much air I would get. It was very comfortable temperature wise. Air flow was amazing. I will wear it more often with the liner out as this increases air flow incredibly. Being a minimalist jacket you really don't want anymore pockets than are already there. Overall this is definitely the best lightweight jacket I have ever owned in my 20 years of riding. Make sure you check the measurement chart for size and fit. The jacket is cut a little narrow but runs true to size for a narrower cut jacket. I would recommend this Jacket to anyone who wants good protection for hot weather. Good warm weather jacket. Pros: It flows air, lot's of it. It was inexpensive. It feels like you have nothing on. Looks good. Cons: it's more of a blue/green-silver than actual silver/grey. The zippers didn't all have pull tabs and the main one the glue on the velcro quit working and it fell apart. No waist adjustment. July 21, 2014
Excellent jacket This jacket is NICE. Lots of padding. Breathes very well. A little heavy and warm at first but once ur riding it cools of nicely. Lots of airflow through the jacket. Has a removable liner. Lots of pockets and nice style. Fit perfect. Especially like the exterior pads as well as lots of interior padding July 21, 2014
Gorgeous functional Jacket I ordered this jacket originally in M because all of my other Icon jackets are M. When it arrived it was too big, so i returned it to Revizilla, no questions asked and ordered a S that fits perfectly. I would highly recommend this jacket and revzilla to all of my friends. Nice Jacket Got the jacket out of the box, and first impression is that it's really heavy for a summer jacket. A lot of Icon logo in plastic. I understand making sure of your branding, but this is a little over the top. Adds to the weight, and can be really uncomfortable. That being said, if you remove all of the internal armor pieces, the weight becomes more acceptable. The jacket has very good airflow, almost not like you're wearing a jacket. I sweat easily, and even during the "gearing up" process, it is much cooler than any of my other jackets. Bottom line, an overall good jacket with a few hiccups. June 23, 2014
sizing Just to give a little sizing info: I'm 5'10", 155 lbs, 40 in chest, 31 in waist, 33 in sleeve, broad shoulders usually make wearing Mediums a challenge. Ordered this in Medium anyway based upon the numbers and it fits perfectly. I could not wear much in terms of layers underneath it, but since it's a summer jacket and comes with a removable liner, that's a non-issue. No problems with tautness having arms extended on Rebel. Good luck; hey, it's on Closeout - give it a shot. June 12, 2014
Great airflow, great price, favorite summer jacket! Just received this jacket today. I purchased the green color to match my bike. So far this jacket is perfect for my needs. Fitment: The fit is great, very aggressive styling that matches the feel/seat position on my zx6r. The back of the jacket is longer to accommodate the sporty riding position without riding up! The jacket seems to run true to size. It is very comfortable with the liner in and out. Protection: Jacket has good CE armor in all the necessary places. The back protector could use upgrading (but it is swappable). I really like the armor around the shoulder/neckline on the back of the jacket. Being a mesh jacket, I wasn't expecting a lot of protection or for it to hold up in more than one crash. Airflow: The entire purpose of buying a mesh jacket is airflow. Icon did an awesome job creating this! I feel as though I am eating a t-shirt in this thing. It was about 90 out today and I wore my Icon leather jacket half the day and then this arrived so I switched. Crazy difference between this mesh jacket and my perf leather. It is exactly what I was looking for. Due to the high airflow with the liner in/out this is a summer only jacket. Do not expect much warmth from it. I doubt you would even be warm with a hoodie under it if the temp goes below 60. I will be adding a full video review to my youtube channel in the next few days. Ronald J: I wanted protection when riding in warm weather and this jacket fit the bill. Good air flow, built in pads (I up graded the back protector that came with this jacket), and nice style. Fit and finish was good. Oct 20, 2013
Eric C asked: I am very interested in this product! However, i am worried that it may be to cold to wear during spring and fall. I live in North West Ontario, Canada. The summer weather is typically 77ish fahrenheit give or take a little, spring and fall are about 60ish fahrenheit. I am wondering if this jacket will be able to carry through the spring and fall? (with or without a sweater underneath) Feb 28, 2014

mohamed h: Dear eric ,, i have this jacket and its good item , but its pure summer wheather

daniel k: This jacket let's a lot of air through with or without the liner. The liner only covers the chest. If you don't mind cooler air flowing through then it is fine. In California I use it for most of spring and fall which is 60ish most times. Get a size larger if you want to wear a sweater underneath. It fits tight with a sweater underneath because of the aggressive shape of the arms. It's a very nice jacket but the pockets are a little on the small size. That is my only problem with it. Christopher J: Hey Eric, I have had mine for about 6 months now and I can tell you in does flow a ton of air and depending on your temperature tolerances it may be too cold in spring fall. I typically don't wear mine if it is below 70 as it gets too cold for my comfort. The interior jacket liner helps some but I couldn't see wearing this jacket in temperatures below 65.. Mar 2, 2014

Ronald J: Hello, I wear this jacket for the hottest days of summer in Maryland @ 70-90 deg. Any temperature under 70ish deg and I get cold at highway speeds. Full disclosure, I am cold natured. There is a ton of air flow with this jacket and no moisture resistance. I hope this helps. Mar 1, 2014

edson a asked: Ima 5"6 and weight about 151lbs, i plan to wear it all seasons, therefore it means that i will be wearing a hoodie under it on cold weather. that taken in consideration, would you recommend a size S OR M? May 22, 2014

d d: Unable to speak in performance at present without knowing your chest size it isn't clear in what size to advise you on. Based on chest size if 48" a 2XL is a good fit. Actually have a Contra that works in all seasons with a sweatshirt and thermal top at 32 degrees. The overlord is a mucho lighter jacket even with the best liner than the contra without the liner. Protection is great would recommend measuring your chest and purchasing accordingly. Also upgraded the back protection on both. Jun 1, 2014

Robert C: I'm 5'10" 155 - medium fits perfectly but i think it would be too snug on me with a hoodie or bulky sweater under. A Medium might be a bit long on your frame but with the tailored cut to the jacket, you may need it. Depends on whether you want a tad-too-big jacket for all of the times when you aren't wearing multiple layers. You may want to consider finding a separate cool-weather jacket instead. Good luck! James W: Well Edson, I'm 6'2" and weigh 245 lbs. and ordered a 2x and the jacket is just right for me. Even with a hoodie underneath the jacket is snug but thats the way i want it so theres no material flapping around. With that info i would suggest the medium for you. The jacket is awesome and if I say so myself I look like a badass in it. Hope this helps you. May 22, 2014

Ashley V: I bought this for my boyfriend he's 6" 2 190 pounds I got him XL knowing he'd need the length. He's very skinny so being its an XL its aa little baggy but with a hoodie on you don't even notice! So I'd say go one size bigger to have a little room to move! May 22, 2014

Ryan Z: It runs small, so go a size larger than what you think you would wear. I'm 6'2" 200lbs, normally wear a large in everything, but had to send it back and exchange for a XL. I'd go with a medium if I was you, but depends on your build. May 23, 2014

MEZAUGHN H: i never had or saw a contra jacket but i love this one. i wasnt big on wearing motorcycle jackets because of the bulky look but this one is really cool and fits well. i wear it without the elbow and shoulder pads, lol. im 6'.2" 170lbs and bought a med. May 19, 2014

A shopper asked: I own an ICON Overlord Perforated Leather jacket (size M) and an ICON Overlord Textile jacket (size S), and both fit me perfectly. In fact, the fit is nearly identical between these two jackets. How does the fit on this (ICON Overlord MESH) jacket compare to either the perforated leather version, or the textile version? Joel R: I am 5'8, 180 pounds, 43inch chest.
When I seen the video breakdown on revzilla I believe the guy modeling it was 6 or 6'1, 44inch chest wearing a Lrg so I bought a Med. I exchanged it for a Lrg because I felt the Med was to tight around my armpits. The Lrg felt perfect but now I wish I would have kept the Med because the Lrg is broken in and fits a little loose.
I dont own either of the two other jackets but I hope this helps you decide. Great jacket by the way, perfect for summer.
