Nice Jacket! Got the blue SB1 Jacket. Haven't gotten to ride in it yet, waiting for the weather to change here in Illinois. Just from a style stand point, your defiantly going to stand out! Im 5'9" 170 Athletic build and it fits good maybe could fit in a medium. but, the large is very comfortable. Very happy with my purchase and high recommend it to anyone that thinks it looks good online because its even better in person! March 1, 2013
Funky? Yes. Love It? Absolutely! Do I love it? Or do I hate it? That's the first thing that came to mind while staring at the Green Icon SB1 when it was first announced. With its Crazy graphics, wacky color combos, and excellent price point I took a gamble and dared to be a little different with my gear. So what is the verdict? LOVE IT! Down in the sunny land of south Florida, I wanted something that offered exceptional airflow with good protection that wouldn't melt me in the Florida heat, and that is exactly what I received. It may not offer as much protection as a comparable leather jacket like Icons Overlord Prime, but to me the increased airflow is well worth it. The removable liner is very comfortable while in place, tolerable even in extremely warm weather, and is simple to remove when not needed. (Too bad its not water proof) Fitment feels great, with plenty of room to maneuver. I'm 5'8" with an average build and my size-M feels tailored to me. For riders in colder climates/seasons, look elsewhere! The SB1's is NOT a wise choice when the going gets chilly. During a recent cold front, it took only one turn to realize my ride was not happening without additional attire. At roughly 40 degrees with a long sleeve undershirt, the cold was unbearable. (This from a Floridian, your results may vary) An assortment of zippers and pockets provide plenty of storage for trinkets and keys, although I was slightly bummed to find that there was no included zipper for attaching riding pants like some of Icons other models. If you don't like attention, the SB1 may not be your cup of tea thanks to in-your-face, well executed graphics and retina-searing coloring. The green is complimented by various shades of grey and offset by bright yellow. Sounds hideous yes, but it grows on you quickly and our 4-wheeled brethren would be hard pressed not to see this at a distance. It is worth mentioning that the color selection between SB1 Jacket and helmet are a little inconsistent. The jacket's grey is replaced with white in the helm, for an odd look that could have been a little more uniform for a matching set. Regardless, they both look great with a unique style that is unlike anything else on the market. Overall, if you are in the market for a nice textile jacket you simply can't go wrong with this SB1 Overlord. I applaud Icon for providing riders with something that is a little different and unusual. February 27, 2013
green sb 1 jacket so i got this jacket today and all i can say is Awesome! great air flow, nice attack fit. i ordered the matching helmet, i really cant wait til i have both. would've overnighted it but it was 55 bux extra..oh no thanx February 15, 2013
Love this jacket I love this jacket. It matches my bike perfectly! The only issue I have is that the armor isn't adjustable. Everything fits fine but the shoulder armor. It slides down so it's not completely covering (sitting on top of) my shoulders. (I am a female and bought a mens jackets so maybe that's why.) That's the only negative thing. I do wish it had an waterproof liner. That would make this jacket a 5 out of 5 easily! I had to add zipper pulls to some of the zippers too. Way to hard to open them with gloves on. It has great air flow which is NEEDED for Hawaii. I also upgraded the back armor. December 29, 2012
