Icon Hooligan Street Jersey
now this is what I'm talking about!
This takes the mesh jacket concept to its Platonic ideal. Unbridled airflow for hot weather riding. It runs a little big. I'm 6'1" 260 and the XL fits good. The jacket has a little more heft to it than I thought after viewing the photos and the video. I want to address the zip-off sleeves. Many reviews refer to them as a useless gimmick, but I can easily see parking the bike at a BBQ, zipping them off and wearing a pretty awesome-looking light shirt for the night. Off the bike, I think sleeves and elbow armor are the first to get uncomfortable in the hot weather. I can also see the zip-off sleeves coming in handy for a roadside tire change.

Great hot weather jacket
This jacket flows a ton of air! I have worn it on a 68 degree morning with temps expected to get into the 70's and I still got chills. I bought it right after the summer heat, but I think it will be perfect when summer comes around again. The sleeves feel a little bit long, but the armor sits where it should. I upgraded the back armor, but I think the genuine viper back protector would be a better fit. The Icon labeled one seems a little small for an XL jacket. All in all, I love the style (I got the green), and it does what it's supposed to well.

a little too on the loose side, but breathable and light weight
First off, I love the color. I got the grey with green writing, and it matches my 09 CBR with lime green paint perfectly. The pics make it look a little yellow, but it is definitely a lime green.
As for fit, I am a 6'2" well built 215 lbs. I have broad shoulders and a wide chest. I got a 2XL because every XL icon I've ever tried on was a hair too small. The 2XL turned out to be a little big, but i think that's due to the cut. It is not a fitted jacket like most motorcycle jackets. It is loose all around, and doesn't have a constrictive lining like many "loose" fitting jackets have. The one negative about the cut is the body... it seems to be made for fat people, as the torso is very baggy. The shoulders, chest, and arms are just right, but the stomach section fits kind of like a dress.... I don't mind though.
As for comfort, it feels like an interesting meld of jacket and motorcross jersey; heavy enough to protect, but a lot like a meshy tshirt. I love that all the 'design' colors and printing of it is all dyed into the clothe, rather than stiff badges and plastic pieces like icon sometimes likes to use. There is literally no hard or inflexible plastic in this jacket, which I like. It breathes incredibly well, so it's great for this hot alabama weather, but it is also large enough to easily fit a hoody under for cooler days.
My only gripe, besides the weird obese-american shape, is the stupid zip away sleeves... which really bother me. I've never liked having zippers near my joints, ever since they started making those stupid pants back in the 90's, and these sleeves annoy me the same way. In addition, because of the zippers the elbow pads are pushed down and are more like forearm pads, but they still have the elbow bend so they fit weird against my forearms. I've tried pushing them up, but they just keep falling down and rubbing on my forearms. As much as I don't want to take away the protection, I might have to remove them. It's a small annoyance though, for an overall good looking jacket.
I love the look, and it's a little added protection considering i left my leathers in the closet most of the time due to the heat here... if you live in a hot climate, I definitely suggest this over a t-shirt, especially considering the price is half as much as your standard leathers :)

Flows more air than turbofan engine.
Minimalist jacket for the hottest of days. Flows tons of air. Protection in the right places (buy a better back protector though). The zip off selves are a mute point for most.. I tried it out since I already have the Stryker elbow armor and discovered that it's a great way to scoop road dust into your armpits. Awesome. I suppose going sleeveless would be fine for a low speed commute if you're a huge fan if irregular tan lines.. The zippers aren't intrusive to your elbows either. I'm 5'9 with an average length torso, 37 inch chest and alarmingly long arms. The small fits almost perfectly. The cut allows for wear with a sweat shirt easily, which is nice considering the nonexistent insulation.

Great Jacket for the Price!
This jacket looks and fits great. The airflow while riding is very nice, almost feels like I'm not wearing a jacket (even on a hot day)!
That said, on a cooler day the airflow is a bit too much, so don't expect to last long in fall / spring without layering up.
Interesting note about the head hole, there is no collar.. at all! It makes it very comfortable for if you are commuting with a collared shirt underneath. Also keeps the shirt looking fresh underneath.

Excellent Summer Jacket
I live in San Diego and the summer riding can get warm. I got this jacket and it is excellent. It breaths well, reflects the heat and is very comfortable.
I was happy to see that it comes with a CE pad for the back. The jackets overall build is thicker than a football jersey. The outer layer is the football mesh but the inner lining is cotton. Together it creates a nice heavier weight for riding. The wind does not blow the jersey around because of the weight.
I would highly recommend this jacket.

Cool jacket all the way around.
I've had this jacket for two weeks; thanks to the Revzilla team for thier exceptional and now (you did it to yourselves) expected great consumer support.
Airflow was my ultimate goal for this purchase. I live in Baton Rouge and its 100 degrees with 90% humidity. I ride everyday for fun. I'm not a commuter.
How much airflow? It has more airflow than my joe rocket mesh jacket. The mesh material of the icon jersey jacket even feels cool just lying against my body. I can go shirtless under the jacket without any discomfort. Regrettably yet expectantly you get a lot more airflow without the back protector. The back protector is solid with no vent holes. I think if icon included a vented back protector it would improve the airflow. Otherwise I leave all the other pads in with great airflow. Lets talk removable sleeves. First, that's just weird. However, if you 1/4 or 1/2 zip the elbow area where the sleeves are removable you get an additional volume of airflow. It's a great place to have vents. The air blows right up my arm and cools my entire core.
Protection? It's not a full set of leathers, of course, but I feel very protected. Would I precariously exceed the speed limit? It may have happened once or twice. ;) I rode in full gear but without a jacket for a couple of weeks, it stressed the heck out of me and I wasn't having fun riding. Getting this icon jersey jacket boosted my confidence back to where it should be. Like I said before, I took out the back protector to allow more airflow. Icon gets a deduction for no vented back protector.
Style and fit? I purchased the red, white, and blue one. I like the wild patterns and colors, it makes me feel more visible to other drivers. Personally, I hate day glow though. No matter what color scheme you get you'll love it. The style is awesome...a head turner. The fit is so nice it almost feels like your not wearing a jacket. I love the way it feels and fits. I used the sizing chart. It's a very forgiving and flattering fit for the average dude.
Technical? Zippers are good but I feel they should be a little more rugged but they feel good and secure. The pockets zip up to close, which is weird. I was concerned for the first week of riding because that's where my phone is stored. Now I don't even think about it. Other than that there's not much else to the jacket as far as perks. There's a inner basket type pocket and a inner zipper pocket. Only thing I wish it had are belt loops. I have a bad plumber crack problem and the belt loops are for everyone's benefit.
Overall? I love this jacket. I think, because of no belt loops and the lack of a vented back protector, the jacket is overpriced about 20/30 bucks. However, I don't think you'll find a better hot weather riding jacket.

Great summer Jacket, elbow pads too low
This jacket cools great when riding, highly recommended for hot climates (I live in Texas 100+ degrees.) I would give it 5 stars if the elbow pads were a bit higher on the sleeves or adjustable (not possible with the pointless removable sleeves.) I have an Icon leather jacket that fits me perfect in every way, got this in the same size and it's a bit loose. Other than that this is another example of a great product from Icon.
