A vest is a vest. I bought this vest looking for a cut to wear with my MC. This vest has some cool features with the outside pockets, and has an ample amount of protection along the back and spine region, but for the price, it's a little spendy. It is pretty comfortable and fits a bit slim. November 7, 2012
Great vest, perfect style, comfort and design. Only one hiccup...... I ordered a large vest, as I wear a large jacket. Fit was perfect. I'd ordered the PDX Rain jacket from ICON previously and the sizing was the same deal. Large for large, etc so I felt comfortable with the sizing. Fit was exactly as I'd expected. The style is what really drew me to this vest. I'd looked at literally HUNDREDS of different style. I ride a Streetfighter style motorcycle, and am part of a club, so I really wanted something that reflected my style. This vest fits the bill. large area on the back for the club patch. My only dislike is the ICON logo on the front. While it's very stylish and cool, it gets in the way of some of the patches, etc. Other than that, I can't think of anything bad to say about this vest. I'd buy it again, despite my small complaint. As usual, Revzilla provides excellent customer service, fast shipping, and great products at great prices. The reason WHY I continue to give them my business. October 23, 2012

I cant decide wether to get the Icon Brigand or just a plain leather vest. I want it to be at least semi wind resistant.

Answer: 
Both the textile and leather will be similarly wind resistant, though you'll lack any wind protection on the arms of course. In this case, it comes down to style.
