Too small for my wide foot I really like these boots - great finish and fairly comfortable, but they are extremely "clunky" compared to my Sidi boots, and too narrow in the toebox. I typically run wide, so I look for boots/shoes that do also, and they typically fit. Unfortunately this one does not, so I'd say it runs more average than wide. Also, I normally wear a 9.5-10, but in the size 10 that I purchased, my toes touch the end of the boot, and were pinched across the top. Lastly, due to the bulk, if I kept them I'd have to adjust my shifter because there's no way I could get my toe under it (tried/failed). I actually like the looseness in the ankle because it allows me to have movement for shifting and walking. If they hadn't been so tight on my feet (and so bulky) I would have kept them. Nice boot This is my first pair of bike boots, I was using my old tactical boots before. Overall I like the boots; they fit well, offer great protection, and look pretty cool too. Once you start to break them in/get used to them they don't seem as awkward to walk in. I have no problem shifting with them, I can feel the lever easily. My only complaint, like other reviewers, is that the only way to make the ankle area snug is to move the buckles which makes the boots look/sit weird. I found a happy medium with the top buckle on the tightest one and the bottom on the middle one. The foot part of the boot fits true to size, it's the ankle area that's a bit big. January 27, 2016
Great boots These boots are great for someone who wants better protection than regular every day boots, but doesn't want the sportbike style boot. They are true to size, I wear a 10 in shoes, the 10's fit me well. They are a bit bulky and stiff, but that is pretty standard when it comes to boots with any sort of protection in them. My only real complaint is that while the buckles look fantastic, they don't really offer much adjustment. I found that for the fit to be absolutely perfect I would need to have the lower buckle at its tightest and the upper buckle at it's loosest. The lower buckle would NOT go any tighter than the middle hole, and with the upper buckle at the loosest and the lower at the middle, it made an awful crease in the leather that looked really odd. I ended up just leaving them both at the middle hole and they fit pretty well. Overall they look really good, fit decently well, and offer great protection. December 1, 2014
A++ on form and durability. Function, however.... I love these boots: stylish, comfortable, rugged. The gotcha - and it's a big one - They're really, really hard to ride in. I have to jam my foot between the peg and gear shift - nothing graceful about it. I'm hoping with enough wear they'll soften up a bit and it will be easier but after 6+ months of casual wear and they're as still as ever... which is really what you want in a protective boot. Recommended, but use caution. April 22, 2014
Great quality! I received these boots a couple weeks a go and have riden about 200 miles in them. As previously mentioned, they are quite stiff to start but are breaking in very nicely. I like the buckle system. The soles are sturdy and grippy. I feel like I gained at least another 1/2" in height. Very comfortable. I feel well protected. Now I am considering getting the tall version in black. October 8, 2013
Super stylish and functional. I really like these boots. They appear to be well made and durable. A bit stiff at first but break in easily. True to size. No issues there. Very satisfied with this purchase. October 7, 2013
