Hotbodies TAG Fender Eliminator Kit Honda Grom 2014-2015
Sweet Looking Fender Eliminator
Really easy to install. I did not use the included, 3m wire taps (because wiretaps are junk).
Only problem is that the wiring for the plate light is backwards, black is positive red is negative!

Looks awesome when installed!
I want to start by saying, if you want to buy this fender eliminator kit, this is the place to get it. Revzilla will take care of you, you can be assured it will get to you fast, and it will be packaged really well.
This kit looks amazing once installed. I was pretty set on getting a fender eliminator that had separate turn signals from the brake light. I know for many drivers turn signals can be easily overlooked in an integrated tail light. The only concern I have with this is that, because the turn signals are recessed under the tail, some taller vehicles might have trouble seeing them if they are too close. I don't think this will be a huge issue though. Another great selling point for this kit is that it comes with a license plate LED! Some states don't require it, but it's still nice to have and you don't have to wire it if you don't want it.
I haven't had this thing on the bike long, so I can't say over time if it will wear down or anything, but I don't see that being a problem. People seem to complain about how cheap and fragile it is. I haven't had any issues with it. As long as you aren't careless with it during the install then you have nothing to worry about.
I think it is important to know that with this kit and many others you will have to do some wiring. If you have a general understanding of wiring, this should be no issue. The kit does come with some quick connectors for the wires, but I chose to keep everything clean with solder and bullet connectors. Keep in mind that you have to fit the wiring in the tail somewhere, so it is best to keep the wiring as compact as possible.
The positive and negative wires running to my license plate light were reversed, but that wasn't an issue once I figured that out. Just had to flip-flop the wires. (Keep in mind that your license plate light does not light up unless the bike is running.#
I recommend buying additional hardware for mounting everything from your local hardware store. It comes with two screws with nylock nuts, but you will need washers to mount it safely. You will also need bolts to mount your license plate. The license plate mount on this thing is kind of screwy. It's difficult to get in there and you have to install your plates before you attach the kit to the bike. I recommend using a hex head screw, putting it through the holes, and fastening it with nylock screws. Once you get the screws in there, it will save you some headache in the end.
Connect the wiring and test everything before you button it up. You will notice your turn signals will not flash, but stay on. This is okay! You didn't do anything wrong. You will need to get a more sensitive relay to install because the LEDs don't draw as much juice as the stock bulbs so they don't trip the stock relay. A 552 relay will do the trick and you can get one that plugs in just like the stock one. #It is installed behind the front headlight.)
If you are a practical do it yourselfer this will be an easy job to tackle. I love the kit. It looks great and functions well.

Cheap plastic does not match stock tail in color or texture.
I'm amazed that a company can charge over $100 for a part that should cost no more than $10 at the very most. Yes, it DOES look good once it's installed but it's just a thin piece of plastic. It doesn't even match the existing black plastic on the underside of the bike. This product is somewhat bumpy and more shiny than the existing, low sheen smooth plastic which is stock. And this product feels thin and brittle, not thick and semi flexible like the stuff Honda used.
To remove your plate, there are no captured threads for the bolts. This means you have to remove the entire thing from your bike to get a wrench on the nut on the back to remove your plate.
I do like the look but the execution is weak and overpriced.

It's somewhat cheap.
This is a good product...I love the way it looks, I love the way it holds my plate, and all the led work great!
But, the included bolts and nuts were horrible and the product is made of cheap plastic. First off, when I was trying to install my plate first, the holes that were made for where the nuts and bolts hold the plate were very thin. The way they designed this made that section of product extremely thin, so since my plate is made of metal, the nut ripped right through the plastic. I ended up having to do some DIY repair with a bunch of hot glue gun and some washers which now makes it more sturdy. Also, in the process of doing this as well as trying to mount it on my Grom, somehow the bolts always snapped in half.
If you buy this product, I recommend doing some figuring before installing.
I only made this a 4/5 star was because I am using this product now that I made it more sturdy and the nuts will never rip out. Also, it looks great on my bike!

Little trimming and great look
One thing you need to know is that an led upgrade kit for the lights is needed to get lights to flash. No where on the site does it tell you and having to wait a few more days to come in sucks, better to have all the right parts when you start the break down. Other than that minor hiccup, the finish product looks amazing.

Its pretty good besides the fact I had to buy led flashers for it to work but othe than that it weighs an incredible amount less than 7lbs. The led turn signals are very bright. I like the look of it also

Great product, could be better.
The product is great and looks great, the only problem is you watch some how to videos on YouTube, you find you need a 552 Relay for the LED's to blink. Otherwise they just stay on instead of blink.
This is about an 8 dollar part that should be bundled or at least mentioned when buying this.
