Looks great on the bike. Pain to install because it isnt designed the same way the stock undertail is. Fit is ok, it isnt a 100% fit which is disappoint because even in the instructions it identifies the fitiment as an issue. You would think the designer would fix that instead of ship it.
All in all, I really like the outcome, I removed my tail a while back and had holes in the bike, it looked very sloppy, but now it looks very clean. If you arent looking close at the edges you wont notice the poor fit at the trail edge. I only notice it because I installed it.

The product is great but could be designed better. Looks like cheap plastic and paint job isn't the best.
Overall satisfied with product cause of integrated tail light.

Poor fitment, even worse paint
First I will start with the positive about this product.. While the design idea behind this under tail is awesome, with the integrated turn signals, and they are super bright, I had very high hopes of a great product, but it is poorly designed, the fitment is terrible, and the paint looks like they gave a four year old finger paint and told him to have at it. the mounting holes for the taillight were off center, and the section where the tail light meets the under tail is not even at all. if it weren't for the fact that I had already ordered one and returned it in hopes of getting a better quality one, I would return this one as well. And I understand that this is an aftermarket part, and they never do quite fit like OEM, but this would be an amazing product if Hotbodies took more care in the manufacturing of it.

Nice, clean look
This product makes my bike look a heck of a lot better after install. Wasn't quite able to get the fit perfect, but it's not the noticeable. All lights function as expected. I am happy with the results. Installation was a snap. It's a good product. I chose this particular model for the integrated turn signals that give it that sleek look. The visual just flows with no breaks in the lines....

Lorenza C:Yes, those are integrated blinkers build into the under tail and they are bright. HBR has the best under tails out. All of there under tails come with a fender eliminator kit for your plate. I did not want to drill into the under tail so I place mine under the battery compartment on my cbr1000rr. There is also a little light build into the under which will light up your plate at night, very visible no issue with the police not being able to view your tags.lAug 19, 2013
