HJC RPHA 10 Helmet - Solid
Helmet Received First Impressions
Just received the HJC RPHA 10 Helmet today, also my first Helmet purchase. Taking the Helmet out of the packaging I was already pleased with how it was shipped. The box was secure and came in a Helmet Sack, which I found to be a nice touch for future storing.
Putting the Helmet on proved it was a perfect fit for me, a size small. A little snug going over my head the first time, being so excited I just kind of thumped it on my head. After having it on and feeling the fit of the Cheek and Dome padding I was instantly pleased. The padding in both areas fit just how they should, tight but not smashing my face and dome, after thought was I felt a bit like a chipmunk (in a good way). For a test I strapped up and shook my head, no movement. Also, I worked my Visor and Vents with no issues at all. Looking forward to wearing this Helmet as I ride!
As and after thought about the Helmet: If you take the chin insert out prior to putting on or taking off Helmet I found it much easier to do so. The chin insert was very easy to remove with the Helmet on (surprisingly) and off. Also with the Visor I had no big issue with using one hand to open and close though it does not hurt to hold the chin as you open.
Thanks Revzilla for all the information about the HJC Helmet making me feel confident in my first purchase! Peace.

This is the first helmet I bought that was over $200. I didn't realize just how much wind buffeting was causing me neck pain on long rides until i got this helmet.
Quiet, comfortable, easy to operate and easy to keep it looking sharp.

I upgraded from a cl-17 because the price went down so low. I found an even better price online and Revzilla matched it which was easy to do. The RPHA Is very light and somehow it feels more snug than my old helmet but is more comfortable. On longer rides with my CL-17 my teeth would grind and cheeks would get mushed in and chewed up. The RPHA seems perfect and needed no break in time. The airflow could be better but not at the closeout price that I got.
I installed my Sena SMH-10 and it is more comfortable than in my CL-17 because the ear pockets are slightly deeper. I did have to alter one of the cheekpads to get the wires in. You could do it without cutting the notch out but I wanted it to be completely invisible with no chance that a wire could slide out over time.

Was very impressed. Light weight, quiet, awesome air slow.

Exactly what I was looking for!
After my husband purchased his Motorcycle, I spent 3-4 weeks looking for a helmet that was comfortable for me! My husband has a Shoei---and I hate it. It is very uncomfortable to me! I tried on $600 helmets, all the way down to $50 Helmets! This one is the best fitting helmet that I could find! I tried this one on in a store, and the store wanted almost double this price for it! Not something I was willing to do--Revzilla had it the price I was looking for. It is a great deal! This helmet is really quiet--much quieter than I anticipated! It is light, and fits my head nicely! My only gripe is that there isn't really any room for sunglasses! So, Both of the temples broke on my sunglasses because of the helmet pressure! Also, my fog shield did not fit when I got it...my husband had to make a larger hole in the shield, and then it fit fine! Also, this helmet was manufactured in 2012, so just understand that you are getting an older helmet when you purchase this. I didn't have a problem with it, because I loved the fit!

After the lining in my Shoei disintegrated a couple of weeks ago I realised it was time to invest in another helmet.
The RPHA10 has got to be one of the best buying choices I have ever made. Light, comfortable, quiet and for my tastes the Anthracite solid colour without graphics is perfect.
Only small issue I have is that the visor is either up or down, the ratchet system can't hold it just open for extra air flow. But in saying this I bought a darker visor and kept it shut on the open road and opened it fully when going slow through towns so no big deal. Highly recommend this helmet and very happy with my purchase. And Thanks Revzilla for having a closeout on them. makes it affordable when buying from NZ.
Cheers guys, Steve

LS2 upgrade to HJC RPHA10 no looking back
After a year and a half with a LS2 cheap helmet i finally splashed out and treated myself to this (thanks to wife going on holiday).
If you have a cheap helmet and um and arr let me say you wont regret it.. this was near $800 NZ Dollars by the time i paid tax etc but its worth it if you ride alot.
I ride daily almost and if you do to and have an old smelly and naff branded helmet do this you will no regret.
