HJC FG-17 Chin Curtain
This little thing should be included with the helmet. Quiets things down a bit inside and helps keep the helmet a little more stable. Easy to install as well.

It's a chin curtain.
It does what it's supposed to do. Easy install, reduces wind noise, doesn't get as cold inside the helmet. However, because of the very nature of chin curtains, it really sucks if you sneeze because there's really no way to cover your mouth.

Came home after a 170 mile ride to find my chin curtain had came in the mail. So I took a few minutes to install it and the cheekpads i needed. It wasnt all that difficult to install once you get it started! I hopped back on the bike with the last ride still fresh on my mind and took another quick 50 mile trip to see if just how much of a difference this would make. I noticed a BIG difference right away! Reduction in wind coming up into the helmet an the resulting reduction in wind noise..I wear glasses and sometimes the wind at speed would make my glasses move around on my nose...this fixed that issue. Didnt seem to notice any difference in temp as these helmets breathe really well. This lil thing should be standard on this helmet! Perfect want to hear your earbuds or bluetooth a lil better. Not sure if itll help on the wind noise your mike may or may not pick up as I use ear buds

does what I want it to do.
I ride a 1980 kz1000, it has no windscreen of any kind. my helmet is a HJC CL-17 which fits appropriately snug on my head. At highway speed the wind makes my helmet float up on my head which makes for a great distraction.
wont be too hot in the summer
cuts down on wind
keeps my helmet from floating, below 100 mph (main reason for purchase)
installation hurt my fingers (solution: don't be a baby)
tends to be annoying when taking your helmet on and off
wants to slowly uninstall itself over many times of taking the helmet on and off. (solution: glue it in if you must)

Just need a little elbow grease
Wasn't sure I was installing currently until I looked up reviews on Amazon for this product. I was assured that you just have to jam it into the seam between padding and helmet exterior.
Have yet to try it out on the road.
