Held Score II GTX Gloves
Love the fit
Held quality shines through. My first gloves with x-trafit and they are so much better than having a liner that slips around on the grips. Tactile feel is excellent. Haven't had in actual rain yet, but tested in the sink and they did the job. Great wind protection - keeps fingers warm in the high 40s so far (not sure about lower yet).

Not waterproof, your hands will get soaked. Glove cuff diameter is too small to fit easily over jacket cuffs.
I needed a good fall riding glove that provided a little bit of warmth for cold mornings and wet weather riding in the PNW. I really like Held gloves as the fit, finish, and materials they use are always top notch. These seemed no different, so I decided to buy them.
After a year's worth of use, I can safely say they are not waterproof. Despite being Gore-tex, they still manage to let water in, effectively turning them into very expensive plain leather gloves. I'm guessing that the inner Gore-tex membrane breaks down after repeated flexing in certain high use areas and then the just water seeps in. I had a two hour ride home yesterday in moderate rain and by the time I reached my driveway my hands were soaked and I could wring water out of the gloves.
The second issue I had with the gloves is the small size of the cuff. I have a Klim Adventure Rally jacket and it's very difficult to get the cuff on the gloves to fit over the cuff of the jacket. These seem to be designed to fit over a more narrow jacket cuff, like maybe a leather street jacket.
In any case, I'm sorry I purchased these gloves. I feel like I wasted a good amount of money on something that only worked for a very short period of time.

These Gloves are perfect for winter time. (30°F) have not tried them in lower temps. the protection against wind is great.
I found some draw backs that i hope they can correct for next model since they are a very good gloves in quality and features. but for the price they should give you all the best.
the finger tips are not what I expected, the seam is on the outside of the finger. and this causes to have a reduced sensitivity in the fingers. I also have a summer gloves that were way more cheaper that this and the point of the fingers are much more better finished.
I also. found that the open for the jacket is not a big as one expected for a winter gloves. the jacket is bulkier on the sleeves but i assume that is is normal on all winter jackets. and i always have a hard time to fit the sleeves inside the gloves.

i bought these specifically as a 3-season *waterproof* glove. i have heated gerbings for winter.
i just got back from a 4-day ride through the VA mountains which was mostly rain. these gloves absorbed water and passed right through to my hands. i don't know what else to say. when called upon to do the task required, they completely failed.
expensive trial-and-error this was.
not happy i am.

Nice functional full-cover gloves
Just got these as an early Christmas gift. I am a big fan of Held and quite impressed with these. This new trick they have is the 'goretex' is bonded to the glove, so you no longer feel that stupid rain liner floating inside (the one that is impossible to put on when your hands are damp). So they feel like non-waterproof gloves, while being fully waterproof. They look great and are designed to be worn over your jacket sleeve. These are my new spring/fall gloves (Held air gloves for summer and heated gloves for cold weather). Though these will keep me warm quite well until about 40s and they seem cool enough for up to 75 or so.
