Held Sambia Gloves
Great summer glove
I'd like to say i havent had to use these in a get off, so the protection features haven't come into action. I've been riding with these and logged about 400 hundred miles so far.
I measured and was right in between a size 8 and 9. I like my gloves fitting tight so i ordered the 8. They fit great and feel great! I have skinny hands with skinny long fingers. The precurve in the glove and the kangaroo palm make these very comfortable. Never owned a glove with kangaroo but its very soft and surprisingly thin on the palm. It feels great when using controls and actually feeling the bike. Seems a little thin but i've read that kangaroo leather is extremely durable so im putting my faith in that.
These flow a ton of air and im loving it. I ride down into the 20 degree F. range. I do not have heated grips but have a good tolerance for cold. I only wear these gloves when the temp outside is 60 or higher. Anything colder i switch gloves.
The big ulna protector seems beefy and I like it a lot. Same with the super fabric over the lower part of the palm. Although the thumb does have a tiny amount of protection. Thats all it is... a tiny amount.
I'd recommend these for summer gloves but pay close attention to the sizing and the type of hand you have.

No road test yet, so my ratings on durability are a guess, but wanted to post sizing info to help others.
I bought these to replace some cheaper Held summer mesh gloves that have worn out after 7 years (!). And the old ones had minimal protection at best, which is why I went for the Sambias, even though I am not an ADV rider.
I wear a size 11 Euro for my BMW winter gloves, so ordered 11. They fit perfectly.

Got hands like Trump? This is the glove for you!
As You guessed it I have small hands, but not the way you think. These gloves have relatively short fingers for the width of the palm. Perfect for me. I do have a little extra, but it's minuscule. Like Trump's hands.

Outstanding ADV glove.
I was looking for a ADV glove with great protection, 3 season capable, great airflow, and good feeling on the controls. For this reason I chose the Sambia because I have had great experiences with Kangaroo palms. What a glove, great fit, matches my Revit jacket perfectly, incredible feel in the twisties and great control blasting through the woods.

High Quality and perfect fit
Made a guess on size (10) and fit perfectly out of the package. Have now used them on 2 rides and break-in seems complete. The features shown in the video are better than shown. Good airflow. Have been riding for over 40 years, these gloves seem to be the best summer option yet.

LOVE this gloves (if there is no cold AND rain).
I've had my Sambia for over two years now and I have to say the only moment I have thought about having other pair is when I find rain AND cold (I feel my hand are gonna come off me). In Mexico it is not that often we find that kind of weather so I'm loving them almost all the time. Great air flow and feel of the controls. I started using them for commuting as well and the seams on my indexes broke a little (nothing unrepairable just a few sturdy stitches) so I decided this were too much of a glove for commuting (which they ARE cause, well, they ar made for adventure riding and even though we get our share on the adventure side in mexico city traffic it's not the kind of adventure they were intended for). I bought them being absolutely NEW to motorcycle gear, after some trips I would buy them a hundred times more!

High-end gloves lack high-end feel
Excellent fitting gloves with top notch features and great air flow. The interior seams and leather feel rough for an expensive pair of gloves.

Is it me or the glove?
Let's start by saying that I have a bit of OCD and like uniform bilateral fit and comfort. The left glove is a joy. The right glove uncomfortable in the lower outside palm and the pinky after about 30 minutes of riding. I'm guessing it's throttle use and the extra padding in the palm. Still, I like the overall fit of the glove, air flow, knuckle protection, and feedback that they give when riding. I have a nice feel for the controls and the structure of the glove makes getting to turn signals, clutch and brake easy. Colder fall mornings and evenings my hands get cold. For me they are very nice from 50 - 75 degrees.
