These gloves do not flow as much air, obviously, as all the thin, perforated gloves that are out there on the market, but they flow enough air to be comfortable in hot weather, while still providing the protection that gloves should provide in case of a fall. I will gladly sacrifice some airflow for saving my hands! I highly recommend these gloves, which fit well, have Style, are comfortable, and do what gloves are supposed to do.

Yes, they are expensive. But if you want gloves that fit your size, you're going to like these. Good build quality, vents well. I wish the cuff/gauntlet extended a little further like the Steve II, which I also have. I have yet to test the protection, but it looks decent. Obviously not as well protected as the Steves (no riveted palm, for example), but I bet they will be much nicer when summer comes around (starts in May, runs through October here).

after discussion got the size 11. could possibly use 10.5 however use the scoot for everything so in and out of gloves many times a day. so a little large is good plus gives better airflow. very comfortable glove plus excellent quality.

These are very comfortable gloves that I enjoy wearing. Positives include good airflow, nice styling and good knuckle protection. A few things can be improved, however, as the protection for the little finger is limited, and I believe the leather would wear through this part in a crash. Also, the gauntlets are very narrow and must be worn under the sleeves of my jackets. I have several other pairs of gloves, and would probably only wear these for local, non-aggressive riding.

Love this glove. About as cool as it gets for a true summer glove.
Wishing it had a visor wiper as summer showers are omnipresent in our part of the country.
Typical good held craftsmeanship. I would buy them again.

These gloves are amazing. They are the best balance between protection and airflow making then the perfect warm weather gloves. When it gets to around 60 degrees these can be a bit chilly on the road so keep that in mind, but I have worn them in 95-100 degree Boston heat without a problem. It was way more than I wanted to spend on gloves, but it was completely worth it. Don't hesitate in buying these

I am very impressed with these gloves. The mesh provides excellent ventilation for warm weather. But unlike typical mesh gloves, these offer true protection for your hands. They fit well, are made of top quality materials, and are well constructed. They cost a bit more than other warm weather gloves, but the quality and safety justify the cost.

Answer:
I would go with the size recomended on the fitting chart. In my case the tag inside the glove listed the size as a 9L which I was unsure of. It could mean large or long,a quick e-mail to revzilla indicate it meant large which resolved any issues i had.

Product Q&A

1 Question|3 Answers
1 of 1

HeldWhile most gloves sold in the US are offered in alpha sizes (Small, Medium, Large, etc), Held gloves are sold in numeric glove sizes. The most accurate way to choose a glove size is to measure your hands using the directions and charts below. To get an idea of what Held Glove sizes correspond to in typical american gloves, a conversion guide is included below just to get you started in the right direction.

Held Size Estimated Men's Size
6 – 6 1/2 XS
7 – 7 1/2 SM
8 – 8 1/2 MD
9 – 9 1/2 LG
10 XL
11 2XL
12 3XL

Steps to Measure For Held Gloves

  1. Use a flexible measuring tape to measure your hand in inches.
  2. Measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.
  3. Take an accurate, snug measurement.
  4. Measure both hands and use the largest measurement.
  5. Compare your measurement to the size charts below

Held Sizing Guide

Held Glove Fitment Tips

Held gloves should fit snugly when new. They will stretch out during break in and form to fit your hand.

If you have long fingers, but a relatively narrow palm you should order a size up as the size chart does not account for finger length.

Please note, if your hand measures toward the upper limit of the size measurements, the gloves will fit very snugly. If you prefer that your gloves do not fit so snugly, you may want to select the next size larger. Held kangaroo gloves are a very precise fit. Because Held gloves are such a fitted glove, many people enjoy the snug fit. This is actually very comfortable, with few wrinkles and little crumpling in the palm area.

A properly fitted Held will "fit you like a glove".

For gloves avaliable in half sizes:
