The most accurate way to choose a glove size is to measure your hands using the directions and charts below. To get an idea of what Held Glove sizes correspond to in typical american gloves, a conversion guide is included below just to get you started in the right direction.

Held Size Estimated Men's Size

Steps to Measure For Held Gloves

  • Use a flexible measuring tape to measure your hand in inches.
  • Measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.
  • Take an accurate, snug measurement.
  • Measure both hands and use the largest measurement.
  • Compare your measurement to the size charts below

Held Sizing Guide

Held Glove Fitment Tips

Held gloves should fit snugly when new. They will stretch out during break in and form to fit your hand.

If you have long fingers, but a relatively narrow palm you should order a size up as the size chart does not account for finger length.

Please note, if your hand measures toward the upper limit of the size measurements, the gloves will fit very snugly. If you prefer that your gloves do not fit so snugly, you may want to select the next size larger. Held kangaroo gloves are a very precise fit. Because Held gloves are such a fitted glove, many people enjoy the snug fit. This is actually very comfortable, with few wrinkles and little crumpling in the palm area.

A properly fitted Held will "fit you like a glove".

Held Agadir Gloves 4.7 5 28 28
Works Very Well For Me. I write this in later June, in NW Minnesota. I make note of this because, as of yet, we haven't gotten a lot of high heat this riding season. So, with that in mind, these gloves are working out very well for me. They flow a good amount of air for having a fairly good amount of protection. The fit is good for my long thin fingers (I take XXL to get finger length in ANY brand of glove) and they are very comfortable as is the case with another pair of Held gloves I have. The wrist and back of hand velcro closures makes for a glove that stays put. At this stage of ownership, just a few months, I cannot comment on the durability. As with anything, using care will provide the best longevity. You get what you pay for and I will pay more for Held gloves as, for me, they are an excellent, very well made product that is worth the price. June 23, 2014
Outstanding comfort, style and functionality This is my second Held glove, after their earlier version of the Airstream. This holds together better than the Airstream. Riding between about 70 and over 100 degrees even in high tropical humidity, the glove is comfortable. Fit is true to size. Measurement around my palm is 9 inches and size 9 large fits well. Held's index finger visor wipe is an outstanding feature! Index finger stitching started failing on one hand after a few months. Had it restitched locally at that time. Bought in April 2012, now 16,000 miles and 2 years later the other index finger stitching is failing. Went down in a low speed high side in loose stones, bush and brambles and hands and wrists were fine. To illustrate the force of impact it popped the helmet visor off a modular BMW system 6. Protection: I gave only a three as am left wondering if the index finger stitching failed so quickly, how would the glove seams hold together in a higher speed asphalt fall /slide, say 30 - 80 MPH? I am not as confident, as I should be at this price point and brand. June 10, 2014
Solidly-build gloves yet flows a lot of air for hot summer riding I commute to work daily and these gloves work great for 90 degree Fahrenheit weather - flowing a lot of air. I use this also for my weekend touring rides also. The build quality is very good, these gloves are now a year old and are even more comfy than when I first bought it. Highly recommended - this has made me a fan of Held quality! Not the cheapest but definitely a worthy investment. May 26, 2014
Held quality, says it all really. Great product. It fits great and works incredible . Glad HELD has kept the high standard of quality. This is my third set of gloves from held and will get another set when needed. Only mark down is for cost . Expensive. September 22, 2013
Best gloves I have ever owned Absolutely the best gloves I have ever owned - PERIOD. I am a solid 10 in size, and the size 10 in these fit -well- like a glove! They were comfortable right away and have only gotten better with time. Held really knows how to build a glove that molds around the human hand. I have had them for almost 2 years now and I have ridden them in every condition from 57 to 100 plus degrees over the course of 30,000+ miles. I have gottten them wet and they took that, too. I firmly believe it's the Kangaroo that makes these gloves so special. They are light and extremely strong. I am trying to finish them off so I can buy another pair - but they aren't ready to go yet! No tears, the seams are as strong as ever - The only sign of wear is some discoloration on the thumb piece. I even took a tumble in them - off the bike thank goodness - and they didn't even scuff. If I had any gripe with them at all it would be that the velcro that secures the wrist needs to be improved. But for the price, you will not find a better glove. I will be buying another pair. That is, if these ever wear out! September 16, 2013
The gloves arrived promptly and I tested them. I applied leather softer as they were a bit tight, size 12/3XXX. Good gloves, but a little tight, I guess I have large hands. Would purchase again, but wish for a larger size. September 16, 2013
Great gloves Got them just in time for a recent 2000 mile ride, a little tight at first but loosened up quickly, able to operate GPS and intercom buttons with them on, comfortable in 60 to 95 temperatures, good air flow. August 27, 2013
Quality gloves, great service The Agadirs are very impressive. Revzilla was extremely helpful with consulting on the fit. I have long, slinder fingers and a "low volume" palm. I measure at 9 1/2 for a glove. I ordered both a 9 and 10, and the 9 fit me best. July 15, 2013

A shopper asked: Are these cuffs too large to wear under the sleeves of my jacket? I wear a Tour Master coaster 2 Jacket and want a glove to wear under the sleeves with them zipped up. Any thoughts? Jun 26, 2012

RevZilla: The Held Agadir gloves have a good size cuff and we do not feel that you would be able to fit them under your Tour Master Coaster 2 comfortably. Jun 27, 2012

A shopper asked: Looks like the Agadir has been stopped. What has it been replaced by? Sep 25, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ken M: That seems to be the case as far as I can determine. Very unfortunate from my perspective, since the Agadir is/was the best summer glove available, in terms of protection and air flow. I guess the Held model closest is the Airstream II, although I'm not sure it is as protective. Since I live in the South, the Agadir is my go to glove for most of the year. Mine has two years of wear, and a crash, but still look great. But I suspect I'll need to look more closely in a year or so. Sep 25, 2014

John J: I have both the Agadir and Rodney gloves. I would get a Rodney, but I am a Long Distance cruising rider. Oct 28, 2014

A S asked: How thick is that superfabric on the front base-of-the-palm area? Is it solid or superficial? I'm trying to assess whether the front crashing defense is on par with the beefy superfabric on the Racer Mickey which I already intended to buy when bumping into these.. Did anyone had the pleasure of front-palm sliding with these? Any feedback will be welcome! Nov 18, 2015
