good for offroad
i got these for a little more offroad grip on my bmw g650 xmoto. they are a bias ply tire, so at speed they feel a little sketchy compared to a radial tire. the rear tire is also pretty narrow compared to some of the other manufacturers' 160 tires, which makes the rear feel like it wants to come around when leaning, which isnt necessarily a bad thing.

offroad these have a lot more grip than regular supermoto tires. and the wet grip of course is also a lot better.

for doing more offroad/dual sport type riding I think these are awesome. you can still pull your wheelies and lean a good bit, but they are no michelin pilot powers or bridgestone battlax.

Needing new tires for a Husqvarna 2009 sm450r... current rear is 150/60-17 clearence should not be an issue
but I'm concerned about putting a 160 on a 4.25 inch rim ??

DRZ 400 SM
It looks like the front should not be an issue, but the back may rub? Will the 160/60/17 fit a drz 400 SM without rubbing. I've been told that the largest tires that will fit the Suzuki DRZ 400 Sm are Front : 120/70/17 , Back: 150/60/17. Online it looks like people are getting different results based on manufacturer though... People are saying that the Pirelli MT-60 160/60-17 fits without rubbing, but that some brands do not.

BEST ANSWER: My application is not for the DRZ 400 Suzuki. The 160 mounted to a 5" rim for my 690 KTM Enduro R has no issues. Love the tires. No complaints.
What kind of wear did you experience.
How many miles on FRONT and REAR before needing replacement?
Thanks
A shopper on Mar 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can expect to get about 5000 miles from the rear tire, the front typically lasts longer. I use these tires for winter riding when I occasionally get caught in snow. They are fitted on my winter bike, a KTM 690 Duke. Note that there are no tires that give good grip on ice and snow, but these tires are a little better than normal summer tires.
What front tire should i get with this one? I already have the K73 Rear but i need a front tire as well.
Mate D on May 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Get a K73 front as well120/70/17. That's what I'm running anyhow.
