All-season tires for scooters. The open tread pattern block structure allows for a high level of water dispersal, which results in exceptionally good grip in wet weather while the tire compound ensures good performance in the dry.
THE Seattle Winter Scooter Tire
Seattle gets a little wet most days. With fifty plus years in the saddle I know no other way to get around other than on my '05 Vespa GT 200.
These Heidenau K58's grip Seattle's slick, pot-holed streets like Super Glue. And yes, Heidenau has a summer tire, K64, that both grips AND seems to last forever.
I'm used to riding on Michelins but I like the Heidenau K58's better.
Revzilla has been very helpful on the phone, with information and suggestions. Delivery of my new tires was prompt.
I'll be back.

Best wet and cold roads tire!
I commute year round on my scooter and do not have a car for rainy/cold days. Thus I picked a set of K58s to be ready for any kind of winter weather.
The grip of these tires is simply amazing, they allow confident cornering on wet roads just as if it were sunny! Combined with the aggressive threading they also performed incredibly well in high speed panic stops regardless of road conditions.
It snowed a few times where I live, bad enough to keep most cars off the street. With these tires I was able to sustain 25MPH in fresh snow while maintaining a reasonable stopping distance. Leaning into turns was also possible albeit minor slipping of the rear was noticeable.
By far this is the best winter tire on the market. Thread life is shorter than other Heidenau tires due to the softness of the compound. The rear tire lasted 3k miles (on a 3.5-10) before I switched it to the front, however I was caught driving on warm roads several times due to the mild winter so it was not the conditions this tire is designed for. Thread life however is still on par or better than the cheaper alternatives, none of which can compare with the grip offered by the K58.
For the warmer months I have ordered and just installed a set of Heidenau K61.
