Product Does What it was designed to do I got these cheek pads, because mine were too thick and these solved that problem. I wouldn't say that any of the features are any better or worse than one would expect with something so simple as cheek pads. The snaps to put it in place are kind of cool, overall, they helped my face not be squished in my helmet. 10/10 would recommend. August 24, 2015
Extended the life of the helmet Provided the needed adjustment for a helmet that had become a little snug, due to 1 too many jelly donuts! May 11, 2015
Comfy cushions I purchased a 2XL helmet (GMax GM54S) and it came very thick cheek pads. (25MM) I felt that they squeezed my face uncomfortably. I almost returned the helmet until I saw I could purchase cheek pads separately. I bought a pair of 15mm and they were just what I needed. The 20MM were sold out. Please see the images below. Works Well Pads were extremely easy to install. Just un-snap existing pads inside of helmet and snap in the new pads. Fit is very comfortable, no more being squeezed in the cheek area. Quality seems to be the same as oem. Would recommend if your existing cheek pads are too tight. Original cheek pads were 40mm. Change to 30mm, they will make a difference. April 27, 2015
Excellent value when the need is to inprove fit. My helmet was a great fit except that the cheek pads were too thick and made wearing the helmet uncomfortable, compressing my face to the point of slight distortion. When the thinner pads arrived, I was impressed by how quickly I was able to replace the old pads with the new. Afterward, the helmet fit perfectly. This was a good option to returning the helmet and hoping for a better fit without being able to try it on first. March 7, 2015
works just like they should The cheek pads work great. They fit just like they should. July 23, 2014
Easy to install, perfect fit. I purchased these cheek pads rather than returning the helmet for another size because the overall helmet fit and I just needed some slightly smaller cheek pads. They install easy and are very comfortable. April 23, 2014
Great replacement Original pads were far too big, although the helmet fit well. Popped the old ones out, snapped these in, and I was in my way. February 3, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
R A: Needed them Jun 1, 2015
A S: My husband's GMax 54s was a little snug in the cheeks...trying thinner cheek pads to see if that helps. Mar 13, 2014
Dustin L asked: I bought a size 2XL...(25mm by the size chart above), but the cheek pieces are too tight. Does this mean I need to go to a size 3XL 20mm, -OR- do I need to try the other direction, like a size 30mm or 35mm?
Thanks in advance!

Andrew H: I ordered my Gmax GM54S in XL, which came with 35 mm cheek pads. Must say I love this helmet, but the fit hurt my jaws and gave me a headache it was so tight. I'm not sure if there is any difference in the size of the actual shell of the helmet from XL to 3XL, but after doing a little research, I ordered the 20 mm replacement cheek pads to replace the 35's, and now I can wear the helmet for several hours in relative comfort. Hope this helps. Aug 25, 2014

Dustin L: That's exactly what's happening with mine. Love the helmet but my jaws kill me after any length of time. I need to go to a smaller size cheek pad just like you did. Thanks for the comment! It helps! Aug 25, 2014
Keith E: My XL came with 30 mm pads, which were too tight. I ordered 15 mm pads which are just a little too loose, but good enough. Go down 5-10 mm on the cheek pads and you should be OK. Aug 25, 2014

Dustin L: Perfect... thanks for the fast response! Aug 25, 2014
Bill B: You will need either 20mm or 15mm. There should be a small tag on your cheek pads that will show the size that you currently have. Aug 25, 2014

Dustin L: yup... the tag says 25mm so I'll probably grab 15mm. Thanks for the response! Aug 25, 2014
Mike C: 3xl would be your next choice if the 2xl was too small. Aug 25, 2014

Dustin L: Thanks Mike. I'm ordering right now. Thanks again. Aug 25, 2014
Andrew N: I also had to change the size of the cheek pads in my GM54S, If your pads are still to tight at the 25mm I would say to order the 20mm pads and see how they feel. The greater the number on the pads the thicker they are going to be. Worse case is you need a size between the two and you have to shave them down a bit. Also don't forget that they will be fairly tight until you wear them in a bit. I have had mine for about 100 miles now and they have loosened up a bit finally. Good news is they are easy to install and if you do find that the 20mm is to loose you can just add some material between the pad and the helmet to thicken them up a mm or so. Aug 26, 2014

A shopper asked: I have to wear glasses with my helmet but when I put them on they don't sit right. Would getting thinner cheek pads make a difference in how the glasses fit? Apr 2, 2015

Jonathan B: I tried the thinner check pads for that purpose. What happens with check pads thinner than you should have the helmet becomes loose on your head. What I did is use the proper size pads and cut open the the pads in the area where your glass set and cut out a bunch of foam in that top area to make it thinner there only. Make your insecion on the edge of the pads. My wife sewed the cloth back together on the sides where I had made the insecions and couldn't be any happier. A lot safer in a lot of ways. Apr 2, 2015

Michael H: I bought thinner pads for this exact reason. My glasses now fit, but the pads still grip the frames and jostle my glasses around at highway speeds. Lower speeds have been fine unless I'm on a really bumpy road. Apr 2, 2015

David P: Yes. I had the same problem and changing pads definitely helped. I still have to adjust my glasses a little sometimes, but the fit much better. Apr 2, 2015

A shopper asked: I bought an XL helmet and the original cheekpads are somewhat loose for me, I need to get bigger ones. Does any one know what is the size of the original cheekpads, or the size of the new ones I need to buy? Mar 10, 2014

David P: Your XL helmet came with 30 mm cheek pads. You likely need the 35 mm pads, which effectively converts your helmet to a L. Mar 10, 2014

A shopper asked: The original pad have built in pocket for headset speakers. These don't appear to have the pouch....are they the correct replacement?
