I got this bag for a trip downstate and it arrived intact and quickly from Rev.
Upon unpackaging I noticed that one of the reflective emblems was coming off. Clearly the heat adhesion process that the company uses was not sufficient to attach the emblem. No matter it is a bag after all and the material underneath was intact so I just glued it on, I'm not a picky person...
Onto the the trip
So after packing the bag only about 1/3 of the way I placed the bag on my bike using the provided straps provided with the bag, following Givi's instructions to loop the straps (bungee cords) around the bag. and off i went.
Arriving at my destination and unpacking I noticed that there was light coming in from the outside of the bag. Turns out the cheap bungee cords punched a hole in my bag when used as directed (the metal hooks are not protected unlike the $2 cords I got from autozone and one of the ends scratched and punched through my bag). So now I have to fix the bag again, lest it leak.
For the price I was expecting better quality parts and durability. I think I will go with a different brand from now on, there are better solutions from other mfg. I got this because it was a givi and well this is what I have to deal with.
