Weekend trial Easy to fill with big mouth opening and Velcro to keep closed when rolling up. Easy to use chunky clips (glove friendly) and hold-down points if using the supplied bungie cords. I bought some straps so keeping attached to the bike didn't need hold-down points. Sits well on pillion and rear rack so no dramas there! Good overall size for my R1200GS. On the ride we had some thunder storms so dust and rain was kept out. I did access the bag twice during the ride which was easy to open and close back up. Everything was dry and clean at the overnight stop and when I got home. Easy to use handles made it real easy to move between bike and room! Also, more than enough space for the weekend, would estimated could do for a week long ride... Thumbs up for a great product!!! October 27, 2015
and them some... 40 liters of anything. Totally Waterproof, easy to use, easy to install (comes with the cords). No complications. Perfect to put in front of your top case in the pillion sit. Perfect for your long trip. Can't go wrong. I ended up buying this one instead of a cheaper one Nelson Rigg because it's Givi and it was like 30 bucks more. No regrets. October 12, 2015
Extra DRY STORAGE space used on DL 1000 on a 10 day trip.. packed all my warm gear & clothes in it. I needed the bulky gear that would be tough to pack in saddle bags. only hit 3 hrs of rain, but very heavy rain. All DRY DRY DRY & easy to load & secure to bike. Excellent bag for the $...I DO RECOMEND THIS TO MY FRIENDS. TWO HAVE PUCHASED THERE OWN.. ( that is only so far, they see it they buy it) August 26, 2015
Good bag lots of room Pack a lot in this bag, took it on a 2500 mile trip, hit some heavy rain, everything stayed dry. August 24, 2015
Well made This bad is a perfect size to sit on the rear pillion; I can pull it off at night and carry into a hotel room. This bag with the large saddle bags on my Cross Country are perfect for week long trips. Haven't had it long enough to comment on long term durability but the quality seems very good. August 11, 2015
Awesome bag Got this dry bag for a 4 state trip I just got back from. I wanted to free up space in my panniers for other things than my luggage. Great size for a 7 day trip. Hit a fair amount of rain and all contents stayed dry. Has a nice large opening to load in your contents. I know some manufacturers make the opening small, and to me it makes it hard to load up the bag. It also has plenty of points to secure it down to the bike. I have no negatives to mention, it's a great bag. August 10, 2015
Great bag, for a great price I first saw the bag in use when my friend used it on our 10 day road trip. I love the look of the givi, and purchased one myself. I used it a few times on my dr650, and it's a great bag, the clips on the side really help the ease of strapping onto the bike. In addition, I took it as my check in luggage when I did a Europe tour for 20 days and it stood up to the test more than well. It's a great bag, and easy to throw over your shoulder. I will mention, that it is slightly small in capacity. You have to be able to roll the excess at least 2-3 rolls when closing in order for the waterproofing to be safe, which means the stated 25l is just that and no more August 3, 2015
Gr8! Great product. I highly recommend it for flexibility and ease of installation. July 6, 2015

Ana M: Hello,
I haven't use it yet, but I've would of like to buy the 30L, this is not bad but I want it to fit the bag on top of my aluminum box at the back of my F800GS, the one I've got it's a little big for that, besides that, I guess I would have to take advantage of the extra space and deal with the size. If don't need to much room, go with the 30L

A shopper asked: you show the dimensions as 13.4"W x 23.6"L x 12.6"D. W and D are basically the same. How tall is it (H) and how deep or wide (W) is it. I ask as I have a certain amount of space between my back and my rear hard case? Aug 3, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
neal d: approx 24" in its longest dimension.
the height/width of this big can vary a bit dependent on how you pack it. pack things inside taller instead of wider at the base, and it won't take up as much seat space (it's somewhat flexible. that being said, i usually strap it to the bike along the passenger seat instead of across it because my bike has a high side exhaust.
Again, dependent on how you pack it, the height of the bag is roughly the same as the width/depth, or maybe a couple inches taller.

Ana M: As You say, deep and wide are basically the same, how tall is it? depends how much stuff you put in it, if you fill it up, it can get as tall as it is 12.6 inches, remember that you have to fold it a little so you can secure it and the water won't get in, It worked great for me, with all my stuff in it and folded, it reached about 8" tall, I put it between my back and my rear hard case and it fits just fine, I have a BMW F800GS with the lower seat. Jenna G: The bag is flexible and will form to what you put in it for the most part. If the space is tight for these dimensions.... Don't max out the bag. Just fill it with as much stuff as you have room for. Stack another bag in top if you need to.... Aug 5, 2014

A shopper asked: Will the 40L hold a Schuberth C3 helmet? Can items be loaded and unloaded while the bag is attached to the bike? Jun 15, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
David S: Hello. I can't speak to Schuberth helmets in particular but I know for a fact that the 40L bag can hold a medium sized Shoei Neotec with room galore to spare. So, without actually placing a Schuberth helmet in my own GIVI WP400 40L bag, I can say with absolute confidence that it'll fit your C3 helmet, extra large or small. Regarding loading and unloading while the bag is attached to the bike, the answer is yes. The rings for the provided straps are located on each of the two long sides of the bag directly below where the duffle bag handles are stitched to the bag. In fact, the rings and handle base are based on the same platform that is securely stitched to the bag itself. All in all it is a roomy bag of excellent build. Aug 5, 2015

Matthew M: Yes it should fit a helmet. 40L is pretty big. I used to fit my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, my boots, and a couple other things. And for being unloaded on the bike I think that mainly depends on how you tie it down. I had mine in a metal pacsafe bag protector so that wasn't a consideration for me. Jun 20, 2015

Teddy S asked: Will this hold a full set of gear, including a jacket with a 11"x17" back protector? Jun 17, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
neal d: I suppose 'full set of gear' can mean different things.
Technically, I think the answer to this is yes, but I think you'd be better off with a different bag. I can put a week's worth of clothes tightly rolled into this bag, plus a fleece and some other small odds and ends. Definitely a great bag, but once you've got it full, it can be a bit difficult to get large or rigid items in and out of it without removing from the bike.

The only thing I really don't like about this bag is the bungee attachment system. It holds it nice and tight to the bike, but I don't like the way the bungees are in tensioned contact with painted parts of my bike.

Overall, I'd recommend.
