Givi TN352 Engine Guards Yamaha FZ8 2011-2013
Bike fell due to the wet These barss and these bars saved my bike big time
These bars are awesome! Save my big in a tip over due to rain turning the ground to mud. Also the bars are a great leg rest on long journey trips.
Overall I am satisfied.

Looks great, works good
The install is not possible without putting the bike up in front and rear stands, but the instructions don't indicate this. If you have a center stand, the install gets a little tricky with the bolts but it works out. The only other difficult part is the center bolt where the two halves connect. The provided bolt is too short for the contact point unless you have some good friends to help push the cage together to start threading it. Also, cover the middle bolt because the flanges there are exposed to road grime and salt and can rust/break off over time. Overall, if done right this is a great engine cage.

This product fit very nice
This product is very nice overall, the finish is nice and durable, mounting was not to bad you need a stand to set the bike on so you can remove the kick stand or have another person balance the bike. The fit was perfect no adjusting required, i would recommend assembling the complete unit on the bike before tightening everything down. The directions said there should be two o- rings in the kit with the hardware and there wasn't that was the only thing negative about the product.

sleek, exact fit, easy install 2013 Yamaha fz8
The part arrived to my house on time. The part looks very nice on my 2013 fz8! Exact fit! Took me about 15 minets to bolt it to my bike! I will recommend this part and company to others!!

Tldr; bike fell over while I was installing one side, had already installed other side and no damage occurred.
This is a much better product than the long frame sliders I had on the fz8 before. They stick out further and if the bike does manage to tip over at slow speed the only damage may be a bent shifter or brake pedal. At high speed I would imagine more damage to other components but the radiator and engine would be saved.
To those that buy this engine guard, make sure you have something to hold the bike up as the kickstand has to come off to install it. I would also leave all the bolts loose until everything is bolted together as it is a VERY tight fit.
The plan is to install some led running lights on this bar as well as foot pegs so that it can be a sport touring bike as well and I think it will fit that purpose just fine.
Would definitely buy again!
