Nice Rack!
I specifically bought this rack to fit my 33L Trekker side bag and it works perfectly. I appreciate the answers I received in the Questions area about the fit. I didn't want to buy a top bag yet and this rack gives me the option to put one of my side bags up there.
Installation was a lot easier once I realized the the location for the drilling of the holes in the current plastic plate were actually indicated on the back of this Triumph part by 4 little nipples formed when the part was injection molded. This wasn't clear on the instructions. Use a 3/4" hole saw to give you enough clearance.
Pictures below are with the 33L bag on the rack. Sure looks big; I can't imagine what that 54L top bag would look like!
Revzilla is great; I ordered it Sunday night and had it on Tuesday.

Wish there was a more solid feel
I don't about the other options available to hold the trekker outback top case, so that's why it's recommended. If something else is available, I'd consider that first. Install was ok. The biggest problem I had was that I already had the trekker side case mounting installed previously. When I went to put the bolts through the side to the top case mount they were way too short. It wasn't until a couple hours later that I remembered that the side case installation came with 2 sets of bolts... one for use with the topcase and one for use without it. Once I remembered and found the other set of bolts it went fairly smoothly.

The biggest problem I've had is stripping out the tiny bolts that attach to topcase mount to the bike mount plate. I wanted the topcase to be tight and it was way to easy to strip out the bolts after only being snug. At first I rode it around with 3 bolts tight and one on the verge of stripping. The vibrations of the bike broke it loose. After which I took it apart, ended up stripping 2 more of the nuts, and then just helicoiled all of them... With the Helicoil in I can now get the tightness I wanted. Wish it would have come that way from the production line.

Easy to install
I took no more than 30 minutes to install on a 800XC. The plastic is high quality and very durable.

Installed on '15 Tiger XRx with a few changes
Installed this on my '15 Tiger XRx. In the end it came out fine, seems very sturdy - but the instructions don't seem correct for the '15 model...maybe the older models were slightly different?

The original plastic plate is still used but you have to drill 4 holes in it. The instructions tell you to make a paper template to figure out where to drill and I was doing that when I noticed that there are 4 little dimples on the underside of the old plate that match up perfectly with the template I made...and then I remembered reading somewhere that the Triumph branded top box is made by Givi. So I just drilled out the dimples and everything lined up perfectly.

There are also some spacers included that elevate the plate, though it leaves a good 1/2 inch gap open to the elements (right above the wiring for the brake light). I didn't like that so I tried mounting it without the spacers and everything fits just fine (I mounted a Givi V46 top box). But I did want something to tighten down on (instead of just warping the plastic) so bought a few shorter spacers at the hardware store - 3/4 inch for the front and 1/2 for the back - and it mounted nice and solid without any gaps for rain and mud to get in.

I know it says it's for the "top case system" but I'd like to confirm; can I use my 33L side Trekker bag with this (laying it flat obviously)?
Shea J on Jun 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The SR6401 rack works well for using the 33L side Trekker bag as a top case. I bought the rack specifically for that purpose.
Hello,

Is this compatible with the '15 XCx?

Thank you,
Mahmoud

BEST ANSWER: This is a very fine product that provides a lot of support for a large top case. The directions were confusing for me, but I finally figured it out. Also, to make it fit, I needed to use a Dremel tool to slightly enlarge the slot in one of the brackets. I don't know whether that was necessary because my bike is a 2015 800 XCx or whether that would have been necessary even if my bike were a 2014. Regardless, I do recommend this rack.
Does this work on the other Tiger 800? The ABS/non-XC one?
A shopper on Nov 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: yes, this rack works for the tiger 800 abs, not xc.
you will need to drill new holes in the existing plastic luggage rack as the directions describe. Some of the bolts supplied in the kit were too short. we replaced with longer ones. otherwise, the finished product works well.
