Why pay more?
I am very impressed with these lights. Bought these for my wife. The brightness is blinding, even in daylight. Everything fits together very well, even the little snap on caps that cover screws and Those are usually a pain in my experience. So, fit and finish is very good. The directions leave a little to be desired. Nothing but a parts list and layman's wiring diagram, but if you have decided to self install, you have the ability to do it. It is simply not hard. The lights themselves compare very favorably with the more expensive lights on my BMW 1200GS, but lighter and easier to install.
The on/off button that goes on the handlebar has got what appears to be a good waterproof flexible cover but I imagine the material will slowly stiffen and discolor over time. Nothing lasts forever. The only draw back I see is the underside of the switch has no gasket and the clamp half is metal so it's metal on metal on the handlebar and it will twist on the handlebar if you mash it hard. Also, the switch doesn't have what I would consider adequate waterproofing seal on the underside. A dab of silicone seal on the bottom of the switch before attaching to the bar should fix that.
One last thing, the clamps that hold the lights to the crash bars are a sort of nylonish plastic. I am not sure how durable they will be. Still, they adjust so you can mount the lights almost any place and still point them in the right direction.
The only reason to pay more for lights would be to get more solid steel brackets, or if you just have to have a remote on/off . All in all, well worth the money.

Very well designed!
I originally purchased these GIVI lights because I like the look. I have a 1999 Triumph Tiger and they were very easy to install on my Hepco & Becker engine guard and It took about an hour to install. The instructions were minimal but they came with a great image lay-out that was easy to fallow. I installed them low on the guard and was happy with the range and adjustable positions available. They are nice and bright too.

Does what is expected for a cheap price
It's probably not the best option out there in terms of amount of light but it really does a fantastic job for a low price if compared to the competition. Easy to adjust, great looks and fits perfectly the Givi engine protector of my SuperTenere.
I had the opportunity to ride in really dark dirt roads and even regular roads at night and it increases the visibility significantly if compared to the bike lights only.
A really cool feature to the bike.

Darrin B:Everything you need is included. I installed these on my wife's klr 650, unfortunately the stator on the klr does not generate sufficient voltage to run these. Would not be a problem on most bikes however. Aug 30, 2014
Jorge L:Good day, this kit comes with everything you need to intall it. Cords, Fuse and Switch as well. In my personal opinion they look really well but they does not clear much the road. If your are looking for really high performance lights I recomend it to look for another kit of lights.Oct 7, 2014
Does this GV310 Trekker Halogen Spot Light come with a "relay" as your description indicate that it comes with a switch to be attached to the handlebar? Does it also have a complete "installation instructions"?
Yivan A:Yes, they do. Depending on what your intend is I would probably only recomend them as flood lights as they are brighter than the stock, but the light patern is very wide. Another thing to mention is that the switch that comes with the harness is very difficult to operate with gloves on.
