Givi PLR5103 Rapid Release Pannier Racks for BMW F650GS / F700GS / F800GS
The PLR5103 Rapid Release Side Case Racks provide an easily removable mounting option for Givi Monokey Side Cases. The quick release function allows riders to remove the side case racks from their motorcycle quickly, without having to go through the pain of unbolting them from the subframe.
Givi PLR5103 Rapid Release Side Case Racks F650GS/F700GS/F800GS
Good, versatile pannier rack system, at a great price.
These installed easily with no bending, forcing, tweaking necessary (2012 F700GS). The quick release system seems sturdy, but I have not put it to the test yet. The monokey specific components are easily removable, making these very versatile. I have used Monokey cases, Pelican cases with Happy-Trails mounting hardware, and a couple of different Wolfman soft pannier systems on these racks. The only drawback of this particular system, is that it is rated for a max load of 22 lbs per side - less than half of Touratech, or Jessee racks (I have both on other bikes)

Installed these on my bike this weekend and dropped 300 miles with them. Install was about a half hour, which included removal of the factory racks. Very happy with function and having the ability to drop them quickly when riding locally.

I used my old Givi cases on this new rack, and am thoroughly impressed with how easily it was to install on the new bike.
The new fastening key is a lot more secure than the old flat screw type fasteners.
Even tough these are rapid release, I think I will keep them on the bike even without the cases.

james m:I recently installed on a 2011 F800gs and everything bolts on. Just leave everything a little loose initially before tightening down. Nice racks plus can run any tail rack you want with the quick release version. Although I wonder if the non quick release may be a stronger frame, not sure but looks like there is extra attachment points. Anyways i'm quite happy with the GIVIs.May 26, 2015
marty l:no drilling required for an F800 GS. you will be required to cut out two small pieces of plastic that are designed to be removed (under seat), really easy to install, the whole process took about 1.5-2 hrs. I thought I would be removing the rack often, but haven't taken them off once. great productMay 26, 2015
Mosey L:Joanne can you measure the total width of your e21 rear cases ? I have them on my g650gs and I'm considering upgrading to the f700gs I'm curious to see how wide the e21's are on the f700 are compared to the vario side cases. Also if you have any photos of it installed :)May 21, 2014
