Givi Monokey Trekker Pannier Set

46 liter or 33 liter side case, black with aluminium finish with top opening.
Available in two versions, with capacities of 46 liters ( TRK46N) and 33 liters (TRK33N), the TREKKER bags are equipped with special selectors placed inside the bags, allowing you can convert each version to either to fully open the entire lid or only the uppermost smaller opening (very practical for quickly accessing items from the bag, avoiding any ill timed spilling the whole contents). Elaborately trimmed in steel foil, these bags are not necessarily specific to just enduro bikes, they can also be a luxurious accessory on the elegant ones as well. Trekker cases also have the ability to be used as top cases using the Monokey adapter plate.
Sold in pairs.

Looking forward to a big trip! Still getting accustomed to the various locks and openings on these cases, they are quite stiff and hard to open. Hopefully will loosen up with use. Took the cases on a weekend trip and art workshop, everything fitted in and arrived in one piece...more travel to come before I can say more. They are quite heavy, so I will will be building up some muscles. They look great by the way! My Tiger looks the part. March 4, 2015
GIVI SIDE CASES EXCELENT OPTION TO YOUR BIKE I USED IN MY YAMAHA SUPER TENERE AND I SO HAPPY WITH THIS SIDE CASES EXCELENT MATERIAL EASY TO INSTALL AND EASY TO REMOVE 100 % RECOMENDABLE October 13, 2014
Look great on the bike I installed the Trekkers on my '11 Vstrom, using the SW-Motech racks. The quality is very 'Italian', and they look great. We'll see how they hold up in the long term, but so far I'm very pleased. On problem was I forgot which bag I had setup for side open vs. top open and let go of the lid. Gravity did it's thing and I snapped one of the rubber strap-retainers that stop the lid at about 90+ degrees. There's two, and only one snapped. Guess I'll pick up some spares. March 3, 2014
Great quality and price Bought the cases and love them, they work and do just what i need! October 29, 2013
Great Cases The cases are amazing. I chose the 33 liter cases for the sides. I've already been on a few trips, fits everything I need, I do pack only the necessary, but took all of my stuff plus my gf's stuff on both of these. Have been on heavy rain for more than an hour, happy to say the inside absolutely dry, not even a hint of moisture. The cases mount very easily on the tubular accesories (must buy bike specific). Only thing I don't like is that you must have the key inserted to close the case (you open with the key, but you can't remove it until you close it again) It's not a big of a deal, but that's the only con so far. Def. recommend. October 14, 2013
Looks good, works Great Just completed a 15 day, 4600 mile trip through the Rockies on my VStrom. These panniers easily held all my gear and kept it dry. Easy to remove from the bike which worked really well for camping or packing into a hotel room. September 10, 2013
Excellent hard bags I use these with Givi side racks on my 2013 Tiger 800XC. Used on lots of local rides throughout Southern California, and have been on longer multi day rides to Laguna Seca, Yosemite, Napa, and planning to use on upcoming 5 day ride though Zion, Bryce, Moab, Canyonlands, 4-corners, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, and Sedona. Good seal, has kept items dry and dirt free. Great two way option for opening like a regular case, or top only "clamshell" style. Super easy to take on and off the bike, and easy access if camping and left on the bike, or staying at hotel and taking into room. September 3, 2013

Anna M: To match my givi trekker top case Apr 15, 2015
Tibor I: Great cases! Using them on my Super Tenere, practical 2 way opening and very secure latches. Jan 21, 2015
Tracey A: Givi is a good brand and the cases look a bit more stylish than the square boxy alternatives. Solid build, waterproof, and I like the monokey and the partial opening on the top. Saw them at the AIM Expo in Orlando recently and read lots of reviews on the Triumph Tiger forum. Great price and service from Revzilla as usual. Nov 6, 2014
Jeff K: I needed it. Ended up selling it and going with the Outback Trekkers since that works the best for me., Aug 25, 2014
charles b: Quality and reviews Jul 25, 2014
Zachary D: Because they were the best product for my needs and wallet. Jul 20, 2014
Joshua B: Lots of functionality at the most reasonable price out there for sidecases. A Givi Trekker system will usually come in 400USD less than a pannier system for a dual sport from any other company. Apr 28, 2014
Robert M: Excellent looks and a great design. Perfect sizing for my KLR650 as side cases. Went down when I was hit by a deer, slid almost 100 feet on asphalt, only scratched the plastic trim with a few small dents in the aluminum case. They saved the bike and are still fully functional. Aaron B: Love them, buy them, you won't regret it. Oct 19, 2013

A shopper asked: Regarding the Givi Monokey Trekker 33 Liter Case Set. Is the lock the same for both so one key fits both cases? Aug 19, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Franklin B: In my instance, yes the locks for the cases were the same, as they were ordered as a pair. I believe that Givi cases can be "re-keyed" with matching lock cylinders, so long as the given cylinder(s) are valid for the type of case(s) that are being requested to be key matched. I hope this answer has been of some help. Good riding! Aug 20, 2013

Ivanna B: Yes, the 2 cases can be keyed the same. You should request this when placing the order. (The guy helping me offered to do it). If you get the 46L case to use as a top box I believe you can also have that keyed to the same key. Not 100% sure but it would make sense.
Solid cases, I'm glad I bought them.

Leo F: If you order them as a set then yes - they should come keyed Ithe same. I also order the top box and had to change out the cylinder but everything I needed came so after a bit of tinkering, I got all three keyed the same.

Steven K: I put these on my 2012 VStrom 1000. Measures 39 inches wide with the Givi racks. May be less on the 2014 since they changed the exhaust. I really like these cases, I've put 15K on them camping for 2 weeks in the Rockies, Blue Ridge and more. Ops checked for waterproof, even used as my bear box for food (off the bike and tied in a tree!) Jan 1, 2015

Mark G asked: I am interested in buying a set of the Trekkers but I want one 33l and one 46l like the product description says. I don't see a way to do this on the website. Is it possible to order a set like this and can they have matching keys? Jul 15, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Curvin B: That's a good question. I bought mine as a set (2 -33l) and they were both keyed the same.

I'm getting ready to buy a 46 so I will have to get a three lock set as I understand it so that one key will work them all.
I know you can get them keyed the same regardless what order or combo you buy, but sorry I don't know the answer to your specific question.
I would call the guys at revzilla. Best customer service anywhere and they will they able to answer your question for sure.

Leo F: I ordered two of the 33's and a 46 for a 650 Husqvarna and was able to re-key them all the same with the supplied items that came with the cases. That 46 is really large and unless you need it that large, I would, in retrospect, just have three of the 33's. It did hold 1 full-sized helmet but not two.

Gavin D asked: Hi guys and gals,

What mounting system do you need for these side-cases?

Thanks!

Robert M: On my KLR650 I used the SW Motech Pannier Rack with the Hard Bolt Kit. Allows for 1/4 turn screws to totally remove the racks if desired. Highly recommend. In my opinion, these racks and cases prevented serious injury when I was hit by a deer last year. (prevented the crushing of my leg during a 100ft slide from 50mph)

Some melting of the case plastic bumpers(asphalt burn), but they are totally intact and functional.

Darren S: if you are going Givi remember you need to look bike specific, but Givi seems to do a great job of having exactly what fits your bike.

for my vstrom 650 I went with the Givi PLR3101 racks (for the quick release). You can also use Givi PL3101. The Givi model number appears to be different per bike model. As long as you find racks that are designed to work with the monokey luggage then the only other dependency is making sure it fits your bike.

A shopper asked: I want to put a set of 33's on my 2013 Triumph Explorer. Will they get in the way of my passenger's legs or seating? May 29, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Gavin D: In short, NO.

I have carried a pillion while the cases have been mounted on my 800XC, and from what she said, everything was fine. The only issue was getting on and off... That, she reported, was slightly more challenging but I think if your passenger uses the rear pegs like a step, and propels themselves over the seat, they should be fine.

It may be harder to get up on my rear seat because I have a one-gallon Rotopax fuel bottle, mounted to an AltRider rear rack, which reduces clearance somewhat (even I was challenged to saddle up gracefully, at first). Also, my passenger is 5'6 ('ish) and maybe 115 pounds...

These are great cases. Very 'flexible' and of a much higher quality that you can see in pictures. I really do like them.

Hope that helps.

Hope this helps

Steven K: No. The givi rack for mounting the bags keeps perfectly out of the way. I have a tiger 800. Wife did 7000 miles on the back last season. Never a issue May 29, 2014

Jeff K asked: How does one order two of these, so they receive a set with matching locks? Also, is a third lock included so it can be installed in a Givi top case? Thanks! Apr 27, 2014

A shopper asked: I am looking at buying luggage for my BMW F800R. Preferably I want two TRK33Ns mounted as side cases however I was wondering if the TRK33N could fit a Shoei GT-Air size L when mounted as a side case? If not I would have to buy one TRK46N and one TRK33N, which leads to a my second question, does the Givi bike specific mounting system mount the case on the non-exhaust side closer to the bike? Mar 1, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Robert M: Just trying to help, but without real facts. I have a schuberth C3 Pro, Small and it will not fit inside a trk33n. I opted to go with a trk46N top case as well for storing the helmet.

Looking at other reviews it seems the installation would be asymmetrical, meaning the exhaust side would be out a bit further.

My installation is on a KLR650, and I have that problem too. I'm using a SW Motech Quick-Lock EVO System for mounting the side cases, Givi Mount for the Top Case.

I guess a 46L on the non-exhaust side could possible equal the width on each side.??

By the way, I love my Givi Cases.
