Givi E97 Stoplight Kit

Incandescent brakelight kit for the Givi E52 New Maxia topcase. Significantly increases safety and visibility. 

Simple installation using pre-molded cutouts on the E52. Requires some disassembly of the E52 accent panels using a screwdriver. Requires tapping existing brakelight wires. 

The E97 is the same brake light that comes pre-installed in the E52NF. If you are buying the E52NF topcase, you do not need to also buy the E97.

Happy With The End Result! Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. I love tha I'll now be even more visible to other vehicles while I'm riding! I like how you can remove the top case without having to disconnect wiring. It looks like a well thought out accessory. Only two complaints. First is the rubber gasket they give you to place around the cutout where the lens goes. The slot you're supposed to place it in didn't work for the entire length of gasket. It seemed like the gasket slot wasn't uniform. The gasket kept falling out of place while I tried to install it. I ended up gluing it in place with super glue. Second, was the installation instructions. Not a lot of detail and it's in three or four different languages so you have to keep searching for the correct language. They don't tell you which wire color is the positive wire and which color is the negative wire color. I had to do a lot of research on the Internet to answer that question. Blue is positive and black is negative. I only gave it a three for performance and durability because I haven't used it yet and I'm not sure how it will hold up! I will tell you this, I am going to buy the signal lights for the v35 side cases. October 31, 2012
