Perfect for my needs, and maybe yours too.
I have a BMW GS with "permanently" mounted side cases and wanted removable expansion storage with backrest functionality for occasional 2-up touring. The Givi brand has a name for quality and functionality, and this case met my needs for a low cost, easily removable top-case. I also wanted simple styling that blended with the black bike.
Storage capacity is great. On and off of the case couldn't be easier. The latching mechanism/case release are combined, but once understood both are a one hand operation. A carrying handle makes for easing toting off the bike.

Nice size and good looks
This holds one full-face helmet nicely and has plenty of room for spare gloves, etc. It has a very nice look to it -- very polished. It is a bit of a pain to open and lock, though, as it takes two hands to do either. Still, it's a nice box overall.

A shopper asked:I'm considering the Givi E460 or the E52. Do both hold two XL full-face helmets in the upright position? The dimensions look almost identical, so I'm not sure why the capacity difference.Nov 25, 2014
James S:I purchased the E460. There is not a way to hold both in an upright position. You can put both XL Helmets in there on their sides but there is little if any room for anything else. You will also have to turn a single helmet on its side in order to close the lid. I do really like the product and do not regret purchasing it. I am using it on a 2001 FZ1. The available backrest pad did not work so well in my application. It was uncomfortable for the passenger. My brother has the same setup on his 2002 Bandit 1200 and the backrest pad works just fine so I am sure it just depends on the bike application. Hope this helps.Nov 26, 2014
Ben R:I have the 46 liter. It barely fits my small and medium icon helmets. And have to push it to fit my medium icon w the camera and bluetooth MOUNTS. I should have gone bigger. Good luckNov 26, 2014
