Givi E41 Monokey Side Cases
Great cases for a long trip
My previous set of these cases held up great. Weather tight in all weather, no problems staying latched. Only buying a new set because of the unfortunate demise of the previous set after being rear-ended by a jeep.

Spacious cases that are easily removable
I bought these for the occasional roadtrip (I have used them twice).
- Easily removable (good motorcycle luggage).
- handy quick access via combination hatch (for smaller items).
- appear to be of good construction.
- Their bulks significantly impacts mpg at "higher" hwy speeds (65+).
- They don't open quite wide enough (tend to close when on their side most of the time).

Really nice side cases
I bought the matte black E41 side cases. They have a really nice finish and are constructed well They have a lot of room to fit gear in for long trips. I used the givi rapid release monokey racks and together they work great. You get five keys and one tumbler (tumbler is for a top case so all the lock match). And they look great on my Yamaha super tenere.

Not Much for the Money
I have been using the E41 Keyless luggage for five years and 25K miles.
The good, keyless entry door. Fairly lightweight.
The bad, not watertight. At first I thought I was over stuffing them but I have recently started using compression bags which allows plenty of space inside. Still my last two tours I had considerable leakage. The luggage is constructed of black plastic that is very flexible. It gets extremely flexible in hot weather reducing the ability to seal. Also the doors to the keyless entry have very fragile hinges. The door flew open at 30MPH and snapped the hinge. The combination lock also is typical low quality luggage fare and changes the combination by itself. I have had to take it to a locksmith once and two other times I spent considerable time trying numerous combinations until they opened.
The best part of the set up is the SW Motech quick release mounts. These allow you to go from full sport tourer to sportbike in less than a minute.

Use them everyday on an FZ6
I had these installed on my 2005 FZ6 using SW Motech Quick Lock racking. Excellent combo. I ride my daily commute 9-10 months a year in the Vancouver area in all sorts of weather. Never a leak. Hatch is super handy, didn't realize how much so until I started using it. Don't plan on carrying these into work each day, they are heavy and awkward to carry. I got a Givi Bag liner and use that, much better.

Awesome hard bags with well thought features
I purchased these to upgrade from my soft bags for a 2,500 mile 7 day trip. I used them with SW-Motech racks on my 2006 Kawasaki Z750S and they fit and work excellent. Rode through extreme 105 degree heat and a few rain storms and everything stayed dry. I also have the Givi V46 trunk and love it. Great products from Givi for those of us without factory hard luggage.

Very Functional and Covenient
I have always been a fan of Givi products; I have owned E36 side cases and E460 top cases for multiple bikes current and former. My most recent bike, a 2007 Aprilia CapoNord, came with OEM side cases that were 31 liters and were difficult to latch and pack so I decided to splurge and try the Givi E41 side cases. E41s can pack a lot of gear and the top hatch access is really convenient for quickly accessing and stowing things without fumbling for your keys. I just recently put the E41 side cases through a severe weather test where I rode 100 miles in a torrential downpour. When I got home and unpacked both E41s were bone dry on the inside. My only complaint about the E41 is the main clam shell compartment can be a little finicky to close, latch and open. The E41 pair is a little spendy but overall they are great side cases and I am sure I will get many miles of usage out of them.

Great side cases!
I already had the Givi V46 top case in matching black / silver, so adding the E41s provides a ton of total storage and looks good. I'm able to put my Shoei full face helmet it the side case and easily close it.
The top access panel is very handy, don't need to open the full clam shell to get to smaller items.
I mounted them with the SW Motech quick-release racks, which works really well. No issues what-so-ever with this setup. Most of the time I use only top case and can quickly take off / put on the racks and side cases (less than 2 mintues total for both sides) when needed.
I haven't uses these in wet weather yet, so can't comment on how water proof they are, but they seem to be very well constructed and I don't expect any problems.
