Expensive piece of plastic
For a universal mount it seems that they could have sold this for a little less. It was necessary to be able to use the top box. It would have been a great purchase if they kept the cost down.

expenisive for what it is
it seems odd to me that the cheaper monolock comes complete with a universal mounting plate, but if you buy the more expensive monokey, you have cough up a pretty penny to buy this mounting plate. besides that, it is great quality and works great

Expensive, but does the job
Basically, this is the anchor for Givi monokey hard luggage. For sportbike owners who can't find good racks, a nice option is to find an old rear seat, remove the foam, and attach this mount permanently to the old seat. You can then quickly attach and detach your mounting plate when you want to ride with your hard case.
My only complaint is the cost. You'll be quite underwhelmed when you see what the kit consists of, but that's the cost of motorcycle gear.

Givi E250 Monokey Universal Adapter Plate
Like the name says, it's a Monokey Universal Adapter Plate that let me move my Givi Top case from one bike to another.
I had to get longer bolts due to the thickness of the rack.
Basically, it does what it says and it looks pretty solid.
Time will tell but usually Givi products are made well.
Shipping was fast and service at Revzilla was great as usual.

Givi Universal Adaptability
This product is a life saver, now you can easily mount extra adapter plates on different bikes and have the ability to use one box on your several bikes....some bikes have specific mount kits. But this Universal mount has the ability to fit most average rear racks .......I don't have to tell you how handy a big storage area is to satisfy your everyday errand or tour needs !
