Givi E111 Backrest Pad for E55 Top Cases
On Givi Monokey 55
So, first, this think looks sharp on the bike - and was easy to install ( if you take your time and measure carefully uing the template supplied) .
The construction looks high quality, as you would expect from Givi.
However, for my application, this did not work out too well...it is just too thick and my passenger complains about it sticking into her back.
Measure carefully how much space your +1 rider has before you order. In hindsight, I should have had someone take a picture of us sitting on the bike before I ordered; but in my defence the 'picture' makes it look almost flush with the back of the case. Saddly that sucker sticks out a couple of inches. On some bikes that might not matter but on mine it does.
And now, as one reviewer noted, I have the holes in the case and I can't just remove it. I will be on the look out for something slimmer to replace it. Otherwise some some nuts bolts and rubber washers are in my future.

save your money
This is EXPENSIVE for what it is. and does not really add any support to your passenger.

Looks great and the build quality is top notch. However, installation was difficult and the price is easy too high.

Great, except . . .
It's simply too thick. It should be about half of its thickness. My e55 tech top case won't go back far enough to make my passenger comfortable with it. I'd take it off, but with the holes already in the lid, it's too late. Good quality and appearance but not useabe.

givi monokey seems like a great product, the back rest is good ,, a little pricey?

No frills. Good pad.
Installation was very easy. Nothing fancy about it, but serves it's purpose adequately. Does seem a little simple for the price but it is well made.

Provides excellent relief from the GIVI E-55 for the pillion rider.

Its small but provides support and keeps passenger back off the case. Downside is if you plan on removing the case from your bike, you cant stand it up because the backrest is in the way.
