Givi D5101ST Windscreen BMW G650GS 2011-2013
Significant upgrade at highway speeds
5-minute installation - then what a difference at highway speeds! Coasting speed +10mph, no wind to body and face. I can literally ride at highway speed with the visor up.
Only caveat - when riding on a pretty bad dirt trail, helmet hit the windscreen. So maybe keep your stock windscreen for that purpose.

Great upgrade to my BMW G650GS - recommended
My OEM windscreen on a BMW G650GS was horrible at highway speed. The shear later hit me in the middle of the face and created insane helmet noise levels. This larger screen, in conjunction with a touratech adjustable windscreen bracket cleaned up up most of the issue. Fit and finish on the Givi screen are great. Durability is unknown as I've only had it on for a about a week.

From postage stamp to touring with four screws
The GIvi windshield is a great upgrade compared to the original windshield. It greatly reduces the wind noise over the stock windshield. The whistling sound is gone at speeds less than 55. There is almost no buffering of wind on my chest and face up to speeds of 65. I can ride with my face shield up if needed. The wind deflects to the top of the helmet so that I don't feel the buffering at all, yet the wind still makes it into the vents in my helmet to keep me cool. The material is acrylic, so it will not be as durable as the polycarbonate, like Ztechnik. The windshield does not vibrate at most speeds. If you have a good crosswind, you do feel like you are pushed around a little more, but that can be expected from a touring windshield. I have not had to clean bugs off it yet, so we will see how much scratching happens. I will try to update that process at a later time. The additional size also keeps you warmer with less air in your chest. (BTW, I'm 5'6").
On install, use the rubber grommets from the factory windshield, and place the included rubber washers between the hubs and the windshield. It uses the original T25 screws. Retighten them after your first drive to make sure it is tight.
I found this cheaper on another site, called Revzilla, and they price matched. They also called the distributer and validated that I could get two of these since I have two bikes. Their customer service is exceptional, and I am willing to always shop here if I can get the parts. Thanks Anthony and team for having a business that caries a huge selection, great reviews, and feels like a small town experience.

Good performance, right price
Works well on a 2013 G650gs with adjustable Touratech windscreen bracket and BMW hand guards (although there are limitations to how much the Givi windscreen can be positioned without hitting the hand guards at full travel of the handlebars).
Removes a lot of buffeting off my torso -- much nicer than the stock (small) windscreen.

Jeffery C: The OEM windshield on the BMW G650GS is to low for me. At speeds of 65+ I really get beat up by the wind. I'm hoping this windshield will help reduces/eliminate this problem.May 12, 2014
Steven R: Needed better windscreen for touring we do so have purchased this for my wife for Mother's Day. Will let you know how it turns out.May 2, 2014
Kelby S: The best price, best selection and great quality. Went on the bike perfectly and is not ugly. It is acrylic, so if you want a polycarbonate, this is not for you. The G650GS comes with a postage size windshield.Dec 28, 2013
A shopper asked:I have a 2014 G650. Will this windshield fit it? According to the GIVI site this model number should. Is there anything different about your packaging that would change that? i.e. is there is an additional bracket needed that is provided by buying directly from GIVI.Jan 27, 2015
John Paul F:I bought this windscreen for my 2013 G650GS / It took about 4 minutes to unscrew the old and install the new one. It just fit right on the old attach-points perfectly. I seem to recall that a "TORX" type of screw-driver is needed, that's all. no extra pieces needed...FYI..this windscreen works great !Jan 27, 2015
Steven R:Ours screen came from revzilla and we just unscrewed the stock windscreen and replaced it directly with the screws and lugs that came with the new windscreen and it fit perfectly. No change in bracket or anything else required. Makes a big difference with buffeting and bike stability on the highways.Jan 28, 2015
N A:I have it on my 2013 G650GS. The brackets it uses are the original ones on the bike. AFAIL there's no difference between the 2014 and 2013 models so I guess it should work. And I think RevZilla has free returns, so nothing to lose?Jan 27, 2015
Donald W:D5101ST fits '11-'15 BMW G650GS. The 4-hole mounting configuration is the same on all 5 model years. I mounted my new Givi windscreen on my '14 G650GS recently and was glad to find it provided much improved torso & helmet coverage compared to the OEM screen which was woefully inadequate. Most of the wind blast is now directed up to the top of my helmet which is manageable. In a pinch the wind pocket is big enough that if i crouch slightly (e.g. meeting a semi) I'm in the most protected part of it. Btw I'm 5'10" with 31" inseam.Feb 10, 2015
