As advertised
Great windscreen still looks great while getting rid of all buffeting. I'm 5'8" so I felt almost zero wind and it is so much quieter. It took minutes to instal but it did make a creaking noise like when plastic is cold, it was 25 out so that may have been it but I put some rubber washers on both sides of the well nuts and that solved it. I can't testify to its durability as its only been on for a week but there are no indicators that it won't hold up.

Works well for me.
I bought this to replace the stock screen after a lot of online research. I wasn't disappointed in the least. I'm 5" 8' and it removed virtually all buffeting from the chest and the head. It transformed my ride since the stock screen offers almost no protection.

great product
I needed taller windshield to help deflect bugs and cut down on some wind. I'm 6ft tall and it works excellent. As for durability I have only rode a couple times. It looks like it will last.

High Quality, Great Fit, Just a few inches short for average riders.
The quality and style of this shield are exemplary. But, as with almost all shields, this is suited for a small portion of the market, those around 5'8" and under. The wind protection on the chest is great, but the top half of my helmet gets a lot of buffeting. I am 5'11" and if I put 3" of my hand and arm on the top of the shield, it takes away the buffeting and head bobble. That is with the shield in the upright tilt position, which gives the most coverage of any of the positions I tried on the Versys. It needs to be 4 inches taller to appeal to the mass market, but is an improvement in both style and protection compared to the stock shield. It is also very affordable. If you are looking to go on long rides and are over 5'8" I would either get a taller shield, or wear some earplugs.

not much better than stock
bought this to replace stock so I could ride on the freeway without massive gusts of wind, nothing has changed. There is less wind on my chest but that's about it.

price, a good quality product.

Based on all of the reviews I could find, this seemed to be the most popular! I am 6' tall and the stock shield does nothing much at speed unless I bend down (its in it's highest setting), which defeats the entire purpose of my buying the Versys. I also like how it doesn't seem to distract from my bike.

I'd like a taller windscreen on my Versys, and I like the Givi windscreen I put on my Suzuki Tu250x.

Awesome windscreen! Way better than stock. I'm 6'2 and needed the wind protection for the freeway. I get some buffeting at the top of my helmet, just enough for the vents to work so I' happy!
justin l on Aug 26, 2014
Definitely provides better protection than stock. I'm 5'11" and the shape blocks most wind on the chest, not so great on the arms, and about 3/4 of the head. The product says on the package not safe for riding 55-60+ mph. I would say that beyond this speed and up to 85 mph so far there was a bit more influence on the bike due to wind resistance. Overall it has been worth the investment

I have barkbuster handguards installed on my 2011 Versys. Will the hanguards hit this windscreen when turning the bike?
A C on Jul 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: it is possible. if you install the windscreen in the angled back position than there might be contact. you can adjust the barkbusters up or down a little bit to avoid it though.
