Givi D3105ST Windscreen Suzuki V-Strom 1000 2014-2015
So far so good. HUGE improvement over oem "touring" windscreen
I have a 2014 Vstrom 1000 Adventure, so it came with the factory "touring" windscreen, which is useless. I was looking at the givi airflow and decided to give this hundred dollar screen a shot over the airflow which is twice as much. I don't know if its as good as the airflow, on paper the airflow is better. But I can tell you I am completely happy with the result for the money. It is a MASSIVE improvement over stock. I can ride with my modular helmet up even at 75mph (although I don't, for safety reasons) and I virtually never close my visor anymore. The ride is FAR more pleasant and even at 90mph wind is a non-issue. I think the bike might feel a little more blown around in the wind but that could be the big aluminum square boxes I added (replaced the oem bags with Givi Trekker outbacks and a matching top box) and not the windscreen. I may still give the airflow a try at some point, but for now, I am COMPLETELY happy with this one, and I may just stick with it permanently. Install is easy, I don't know why people whine about swapping the rubber grommets over, it took 5 minutes. Total install time was under 10 minutes. I can't give it 5 stars, ONLY because I think the airflow could perform better. But I am 100% happy with this one. If you want a huge improvement over stock, that I truly believe 95% of people would be completely satisfied with, you can't beat this one. I took another star off durability because glass would hold up to cleaning better. I worry that I will have to replace this in a couple years, but at the pricepoint, that's not a big deal.

I was debating on which upgraded wind screen to get for my V-strom as the factory one just did not have enough protection. This was a very good price. I'm 5'10" and this screen is perfect for me. With the 3 adjustment points on the bike its one of the best purchases i've made for my bike. In the back position I get plenty of air flow, in the middle postion it blocks alot of air and I can still see just over the screen, in the forward postion I have to look just through the top of the screen and blocks most of the wind. Seems to be great quality and fit was perfect..

Eliminated the buffeting caused by the stock touring screen.
For reference, I am 6'1 with a 32 inseam and can adjust this to keep buffeting down and still see over the screen.

Awesome Looking Screen
This screen changed the look of my new v-strom 1000 dramatically for the better. Very sweet. The wind protection is awesome too. No problems on those two fronts.
The installation is easy, BUT you need the rubber bushings from the original screen for a tight fit. The Givi screen does not come with it's own bushings. This is a mistake on Givi's part. The bushings are not easy to remove or install without softening them up. Actually, its a bit of a pain for an install that should take no more than 4-5 minutes total.
Lastly, this screen is taller than you might think. I'm 6'2" and on the highest setting I have to peer through the screen instead of over it. I moved it to the lowest setting and can barely see over it now. So if you like to see over your screen and you're less than 6' tall, this is not the screen for you.
As for Revzilla...fastest shipping out there!

2014 v strom 1000 abs
Super easy to install just use factory bushing easy to take out and reuse.. The screen sits 13 inches from top mounting hole to give you a idea how tall it is. Im 6ft-1 and it deflects a ton of wind for me enought for me to ride daily with my helmet shield up the whole time.

Need bushings to install
To mount this screen you must remove the four "cushion" bushings that go through the holes in the screen and hold it to the windscreen bracket. These bushings are difficult to remove from the stock screen and if they are damaged, will not properly cushion the screen. You can buy four bushings from your dealer for less than $7. If I was Revzilla, I would offer those too.
