Works as advertised. Reduced buffeting at high speeds I installed and went for a ride and no buffeting . Worked like a charm. Would recommend to any V-Strom owner. April 15, 2013

Pricey, but worth it I'm 6'4" on a V-Strom DL650 with the Shoei Air helmet... I had the Arai XD before that. This shield is HUGE and very solid. Due to its size, I was expecting it to just rattle in the wind, but it's solid construction and design make it sturdy as heck!! I still get a little turbulence up at the top of my head, but I'm going to use a custom bracket to raise the screen another inch or two to rid myself of that. Otherwise, no more buffeting at all! Very satisfied with my purchase and revzilla is the best and FASTEST online purchase I've made - from now on, they're the only ones I'm going to buy from! Thanks April 8, 2013

Great, affordable windscreen. Completely changed my riding experience on the DL1000. Easy to install, fits up great, does it's job excellently. Only downside is that with it install I can't turn the handbars full lock without knocking the mirrors. It turns out that this isn't really an issue -- you just have to mindful of it. Great Product ! Installed, reflects ALL wind once placed on the V-Stroms higher mount setting. i'm 6'02'' and it keeps the wind completely off of me. My nose and eyes are just above the top of it once seated. As recommended for windscreen positions. Like I said eariler, dont just take of the old windscreen and put this GIVI windscreen on, without adjusting the v strom stock bracet to the higher setting , then installing the GIVI windscreen for optimum wind deflection. $125 bucks well spent This GIVI windshield is light years ahead of of the stock one. While there are others out there, GIVI hits the mark with its price point, fit, and finish. For $125.00, you get a marked improvement in wind deflection and overall riding comfort. I stewed and stewed over whether or not to buy it. I should have done it sooner, February 27, 2012
