Terrific screen, easy install Ordered this to replace the tiny windscreen that comes stock on my Honda NC700X. It's beautifully curved and fit perfectly, going on in 5 minutes flat using just the 4 stock screws with Torx heads. I can see how this would be a major plus especially on cold mornings or when the breeze picks up. It does such a thorough job eliminating wind on the chest I found myself wondering whether I would get enough breeze in the height of summer. It does exactly the job you buy it for. It would be very easy to swap back the small screen seasonally if you want to do that. May 5, 2014
Easy installation, still some buffeting I'm 6'6" so a tall windscreen is a must. Even with this, the tallest I could find I still get some buffeting, but it is much better than the stock windscreen. Very easy installation. 4 screws and you're done. Fit's perfectly in place of the OEM windshield. November 7, 2012

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
thomas b: My stock windscreen is small and don't do a good job at blocking wind or bugs, I want something that is a bit taller but not ridiculously bulky. Jul 12, 2014
James W asked: Hi, I have a Cee Bailey’s tall wind screen that came w/ my 700x. How much shorter is this one? I am 5’6” and looking for something a tad shorter Aug 13, 2014

John W: This screen extends about 11.5 inches back from the (black colored) support fairing, but that is at an angle. To get an accurate idea of how tall it is, stand at the front of your bike, take a tape measure and measure straight vertically 19 inches up from exact center top of your headlight (where the "V" shape dips to a center point.)

I don't have access to the Bailey's screen but from pictures I see, it seems to be perhaps just a tad taller. Personally I think the Givi styling goes better with the bike but of course that's entirely subjective.

Benny S: The Giving windscreen is 19 and 1/4 inches from center to top. I've been pleased with it. The fit is exact and looks nice. The air flow hits me about at shoulder height which is tolerable. Aug 13, 2014

Frederick O: Windshield is 18 inches tall and 16 inches wide. A Cee Bailey I believe is 4-6 inches taller so this should help. Aug 13, 2014

A shopper asked: This product only lists the 2012 and 2013 NC700X models. Will it also work on a 2014 model? Sep 24, 2014

Benny S: I don't see why not. Looked at a new 2014 before buying the 2012, I did not see any design change. Sep 24, 2014

John W: Yes I have installed it on a 2014. Also it's very easy to take off if you don't like it. Sep 24, 2014

A shopper asked: can anyone give me more proper dimension on this screen?
Givi D1111ST Screen Honda NC700X

what is the width?

is said to be 16" but is the 16" at the widest bottom spot? what is the width of the top of it?

Timothy J: The width at the top of the screen is approx. 11" which stays consistent until it reaches the "flare" toward the bottom where it changes to 15" at it's widest point - this is a "projected" dimension (measured straight across from edge to edge), not a dimension measured around the curve of the screen, which would be greater.

I'm 6'-1" with a long torso and the windscreen keeps all the wind off my central torso, a huge improvement from the stock screen. I hope that helps.
