Givi B33 Monokey Top Case
It's everything the description says
Snaps right into the monkey rack, holds 1 xxl scorpion helmet, a light jacket, gloves and other misc. small items. It does not have a document holder like the other bigger monokey line top cases. Didn't put a lot of miles on it but seems perfect for short trips and around town. The 33l case looks just right on my 99 bandit 1200. Anything bigger without the side cases would just look silly in my opinion. And no light kit offered for this size top case. Still at this price point it's a good, well made too case.

Oops Shot myself in the foot again
You would think after studying the GIVI line for weeks literally I would have made a better selection and cost effective decision but just so no other suspect makes the wrong decision here are a couple of caveats ..
OK this box is identical to the cheaper mono lock version except the color way is slightly offset by a silver stripe on each side at the rear . Ironically it costs 28+ bucks more than the lesser spec Monolock box of the same design and does NOT come with a universal mounting plate. Understandable as GIVI states they are not interchangeable in reality the locks are different so if you want this one to fit the standard Monokey plates you will have to buy this one with the silver stripes and pay 28 bucks more for it without a universal plate to attach it to your give luggage rack...
Secondly , I figured out most of that before hand and thought myself a bit wasteful to buy it but reconciled it as OK since I would be using it on my other bike which has the GIVI metal luggage rack which does fit without a second universal plate.
now for the most disappointing thing was this box , like most monolok bags does NOT come with the document box inside the lid. Since my whole impetus for buying a lockable top box was to get away from fussing about with tank bags and losing at least two magnetic ones and another was simply stolen off the bike this seemed perfect and my doc's would be secure in the lid.
So I'm probably going to keep the dang thing as I'm not even sure that you can return mounting hardware after installs but
I think GIVI while making some of the most high quality top boxes sure do make it confusing to buy one with all the this one does this this one does that //
When you think about it why WOULD this box cost 28 bucks more than it's monolok sibling while neither coming with a universal mount nor a document box in the lid.... you are paying another 66 bucks for the universal mount for monokey apps and not getting the doc box in the lid that I thought all monokey boxes came with.
Don't even get me started on the brake light issues.......
All I"m saying is read the fine print and ask yourself do you really want to pay a total of 246 bucks for the final install price of the monokey version of this box or just get the one priced with base plate mono lock version. They state the difference is in the weight capacity and the best I can tell that is doe mostly to the mounting strength of the monkey since the boxes are pretty much the same as far as I can tell....
In short to get interchanabilty from one bike to the other I ended up paying 100 bucks more for the same dang box. LOL
HHAHAHAAH I can laugh about it now but I am kinda feeling a little bit stupid at this point. Maybe this review will help someone do a better job of reading the fine print.

Awesome top case for the price
Givi is one of the top manufacturers of motorcycle top cases and this is just another example of why. This trunk is good durable plastic and you will feel comfortable carrying your gear in it. The ease of installing and removing the case from your bike is seconds quick and easy. Plus, you can purchase additional mounting brackets to use this case on other bikes. The size is that of a single full face helmet. You won't be able to store much of anything else in it when your helmet is in it. But for trips to work or around town or even overnight trips this case is fine. Buy this as your smaller get around town case and then get another larger Givi case for your traveler.

Very Well-Made, Best Looking Givi Monokey Top Case
I purchased this to use on my silver 2005 Triumph Sprint ST.
For day-to-day riding, the 33 liters is ample. For longer tours, you may want one of their larger ones. Probably in the 40s to 50s of liters. But fit and finish of this thing is excellent, and it's easy to see how waterproof it will be. It's built much better than my Shad top case, although that case still works very well for me on the other bike. And the price was excellent. The Givi and Shad are both about equal in value to me.
So far I'm very happy with ALL of my Givi stuff.

Great capacity for a daily driver
I was looking for a luggage solution that wouldn't overwhelm the lines of the bike, or be as wide as the OEM saddlebags, so I grabbed the smallest Givi topcase I could find. Lockable and waterproof were big plusses, as is push-button quick detach.
Nice to be able to lock a full face helmet in the case when off the bike, or put a couple of small bags of groceries in there. Very practical for day to day use.
Pretty simple install. For my Ducati it did require the additional purchase of the Universal Top Case Adapter kit and a luggage rack.
A tail light kit would be nice too, just not offered on this model GIvi. The case 'could' block the brake light visibility to a high profile vehicle behind me in bumper to bumper traffic.
Seems pretty sturdy in my first month of use, and I think it's a really good bang-for-the-buck.
Did I mention I'm especially impressed with it being totally waterproof? :)

Compact and capable
I wanted a small alternative to my panniers that would make lane splitting - and entering my narrow garage opening - easier, and this bag fills the bill. It carries everything I've needed so far on my daily commute, which often includes a small briefcase and a small camera bag. It has not noticeably affected handling of my Vstrom 650. While this is more metaphysical musing than review, I'm also pretty sure that installing it saved my life: http://dizzyone.net/kindlygentlemenmotorcycleclub/the-interesting-thing-about-almost-getting-killed-this-morning/

Easy to use, and holds a helmet and gloves easily.

Perfect Size Top Case for Everyday
This B33 monokey top case provides the perfect size top case for the everyday commuter and overnight trip. With the monokey system you can switch in seconds to a large road trip case. The only thing that disappointed me was that it did not have a document box like all of the other monokey top cases do. Not a big deal but a small disappointment.
Goes really well on my Triumph Trophy SE. Triumph only offers a 55L top case that cost nearly $700 with the mounting plate and case, with no option for a smaller case.
