Givi AF6401 Airflow Windscreen Triumph Tiger 800XC / 800XC / 800XR

This stylish, well-constructed replacement windscreen features improved height and shape with top-notch quality. Mounts in minutes using stock fasteners. Features clear tint and precision-cut shape. Overall height is 23.8" maximum width is 17.9", approximately 4.7 inches of extension. Specific sliding wind-screen, transparent, complete with fitting kit.

AIRFLOW is the most versatile Givi windshield to date.

The adjustable spoiler allows the rider on the fly to easily and quickly make adjustments. Made of transparent polycarbonate, the adjustable spoiler is infinitely adjustable along the 4.7" (12cm) of travel. Once the desired setting has been selected a simple and secure clamp will keep it in place.

The design of the AIRFLOW system creates an aerodynamic effect that eliminates turbulence, allowing for maximum protection from wind thus reducing rider fatigue.

Another important feature is the ability to reduce AIRFLOW to the rider to increase driving safety while raining: the "spoiler effect" reduces and, can at times, eliminate rain from collecting on the visor and reducing vision. During the warmer days the AIRFLOW spoiler, can easily be removed allowing travel with only the lower part of the windshield as well.

Specific sliding wind-screen, clear, complete with fitting kit. Maximum height 23.8 inches (4.7 inches of extension) width 17.9 inches.

relatively easy install, big improvment from factory windscreen
I like it. I did have to get different nuts/bolts, washers to get good fit but still like it.

Solves Tiger Screen Buffetting problem for any rider
Granted I am 6'-3" and have buffeting issues with most screens on nearly any bike but this Givi product cut my 2013 Triumph Tiger cockpit wind and noise down drastically. Wind sheer design works great. I was surprised that, after trying all positions of the secondary screen, I don't have to run it in its fully extended (and weirdest looking) position. I actually set right in the middle of the adjustment and bingo....problem solved. Givi product is also thick and well engineered so it flexes less than other options. Usual Revzilla great customer service shipped this out quick and in great packaging.

Perfect customizeable replacement over OEM
The stock Tiger 800 windscreen was absolutely useless--even detrimental--for me, and would cause painful buffeting on my helmet and neck as well as annoying wind noise. I ended up riding without it for a year before buying this. The base windshield itself is already a huge improvement over stock. It does not buffet at speed or create any streams of turbulent air. It hits slightly lower than where the stock one did so it works great for warm weather or around town. Looks nice with no design lines to distort vision through it. The adjustable spoiler has no problem completely throwing the flow of air clear over my helmet, though it does shake a bit when it's extended to its highest setting which is overkill anyway and shouldn't need to go that high up unless you're somewhere around 6'7". Removing and reattaching it is a breeze.
Only complaints are that the bottom of the spoiler has a pointless frost effect (which is perfectly in the way of some of my action camera placements) and some of the installation was a hassle, namely transferring the grommets over.

Gives me the protection I am looking for
Raises high enough for proper protection but is adjustable so I can see over the windshield for daily riding

Quiet and comfortable
Easy install. Looks great and keeps the wind off!. It is now quiet at higher speeds and way more comfortable on longer rides. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Killed wind buffeting as advertised. Good value.
Great addition to Triumph Tiger 800. Far better than stock (tall) windshield at providing wind protection, and looks much better as well. Height of adjustable portion is easy to change on the fly which I did not expect. Well designed, very nice.

Only negative is that the install kit could have been more comprehensive (reuse of some original parts was not possible, had to improvise a bit).

Awesome screen
Overall the Airflow series is one of the best. I don't like how the upper section is frosted on the bottom. It creates a weird look, in my opinion. In the process of trying to get the unfrosted upper that Givi offers as a replacement. I'd like to see an option to pick frosted or unfrosted upon ordering. Would save $70.

BEST ANSWER: HI, This windshield fits my 2014 Tiger 800 just fine. PJR Maine, USA
How close are the handguards when turning? I'm on a Tiger 800 XCX with Barkbusters, and worried that they won't clear this shield.
Jeremy R on Jul 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: i have the stock guards on and they clear by about 1/2" at the closest point full lock at the inside of the hand pocket. Can't really say for the Barkbusters.
