Glad I bought this one
I was between this windshield and another one, I'm glad I went with this one as it looks good on the bike and also does the job really well. Yes, I still feel the air hitting me but not as much as it did before without one. It makes my commute easier without getting all the wind blast into my chest.

Great Windscreen
This screen was wider than some of the others I researched, but not as tall so it still looks really good on the bike. There is a noticeable difference in wind on my chest (I'm 5'9") under 50mph. It still works pretty good at higher speeds. Great addition to the bike I would recommend it!

Looks great, partial windbreak
This windscreen is the best looking screen of all I've seen for the FZ07 and it totally fixes the slightly odd look of the front end of the bike above the headlight (IMO). Its' design really does look like it should have been on the bike from the factory. It also protects the back of the electronic display module from bugs and still allows good access to the key with gloves on. I've compared wind pressure on the hi way with and without the screen in place and it does relieve wind pressure on my midsection so I'm not hanging on to the bars so tight at hi way speeds. It doesn't improve wind pressure on my upper chest and helmet (Shoei GT Air) but the wind is very steady and not turbulent at all for me. The FZ is my second naked bike and I didn't buy it to put a monster windscreen on it so I could completely escape the wind or a few bugs and was never really bothered by a little steady wind pressure. Don't get me wrong, a big screen is nice on chilly morning rides but when its hot out I don't like not having air flow to my body since I always ride with an armored jacket that can get hot when air is blocked from the jackets vents (which are usually on the upper half of most jackets). For me getting some air on my upper body is a good thing since it allows me to get and control cooling air via my jacket vents. After all, isn't half the fun of riding a motorcycle just getting out in the rushing breeze, especially on a warm day? Bottom line is that this windscreen looks great, keeps bugs out of hard to clean places and relieves a little wind pressure at high speed and delivers air flow where I need it. In my book that's a winning combination.

Great addition to the FZ-07
I just installed this screen today and took it for a test ride. On the highway, with speeds above 70mph, I still felt quite a bit of wind on my chest and helmet, but I didn't feel like I was getting blown off the bike as I did before the windscreen. If I went into a tucked position, I could easily take it up to higher speeds and felt very little wind. Reminded me of a sportbike.

I knew I didn't want a tall windscreen which would take away from the awesome styling of the FZ-07, so I knew I wouldn't get the greatest wind protection. This one does however offer enough and looks great on the motorcycle. I highly recommend it. My favorite purchase for the bike so far.

Clean and tidy
Fits nice. Still keeps the naked look of the bike. Helps a tad bit on the wind slapping you in the face, but not much.

Not Bad
This windscreen is very easy to install and I think it looks great. The screen and the associated hardware are made of high quality materials. The wind was reduce significantly at lower speeds but not so much above 60 mph. That said, I'd recommend this product.

Just for the looks
Buy if you like the looks. I'm not a fan of the Puig or Yamaha stock screens and I didn't want anything too large like an ADV or Cruiser. This windscreen gave the bike a nice sleek look, with a bit of an "Alien Queen" kind of feel. Nice that it's tall enough to hide the wiring as well (FZ-07's headlight hangs too low, wish it was higher like the FZ-09).

Look elsewhere if you need something to block a lot of wind. It's still a hurricane at highway speeds.

Good lucks; bad fit
This windscreen was purchased for a 2015 Yamaha FZ-07. While the overall looks from a bit of distance is steller, getting up close and personal will show fitment issues. QA is generally a tiny bit lacking. The install instruction call for the use of two stock bolts and two provided bolts in order to affix the brackets to the facia of the bike. Not only do the provided bolts not match the stock two, but due to variable thicknesses in the finish of the mounting brackets, the throttle side bolt cannot engage. This can be easily remedied by purchasing 4 matching third party bolts from Home Depot or the like. What cannot be fixed is the final fitment issue. These shields will not sit flush or even on the bike. One side will hover a few mm off. These two issues are apparently quite common and my emails and support requests to Givi USA have fallen on def ears.
With all that said and done, it's not terrible per say and still looks quite nice. However, if you want true form and function to help eliminate that turbulence on the freeways, there are options out there better than this. It's a shame cause as flawed as this screen is, I can still tell quite a bit of difference. If the final fitment was solid, I'm sure my slipstream would be flawless.

Can't install it until I go to the hardware store!
So, I WAS excited to install my windshield today, but I was left quite disappointed. Upon opening the box, I come upon a set of rather vague instructions, and upon taking some time to decipher them, I managed to figure out what to do. I figured that it would take 10 minutes or so to install this product; boy I was wrong.

Where you attach the brackets to the headlight unit, the instructions call for you to reuse the two bolts that were previously on the headlight unit. This step right here is where it falls apart. The stock bolt is just like a centimeter too short to thread, counting for the thickness of the bracket. So, without running to the hardware store to get a longer bolt, I can't install this!

So, be aware that this product may require a short trip to the hardware store to make it work! I'll update this review with actual thoughts on the product when I get it installed on my FZ-07 in the near future.

I've attached a photo of the two bolts that won't thread (the silver ones) so others know what I'm having issues with.

Exactly what I needed
I'm 6ft and this works great for me. I can easily cruise at 80 MPH with wind gliding off my helmet instead of buffeting my chest. Prior to the windscreen riding at 65 was sketch. Now its smooth as butter. Also the Styling matches the bike IMO.

I found going past 45mph to be a bit uncomfortable. Once you hit 60mph it starts to get a little scary. Hopefully this windscreen will help with that! :)

Looks great and mounts very easy. I'm 6'3" though, so it doesn't do a lot of wind blocking. Maybe if you are under 5'10" it would be decent. Definitely looks good though.

I ride a Yamaha FZ-07 and the design of the bike seems to funnel air right over the handlebars and onto the rider. I wanted a windscreen that didn't take away from the look of the bike but that forced the air upwards and onto my helmet. After a few searches and reviews I chose the Givi.

I wanted something to break the head wind just a little bit. This did the trick. I like the styling as it wasn't too intrusive and looked like it actually belonged on the bike.

Where does the wind deflect to at speeds of 65mph+? By which i mean where does it contact the body? Any odd wind noise? Thanks for the info in advance.
A shopper on Nov 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Although this windscreen is fairly short, I find that it does a good job of deflecting the wind. Without the windscreen, the wind hit me right in the chest. After installing it I noticed a big difference. I was afraid it might deflect the wind to my head, but that is not the case. Even with the windscreen at speeds 65+, I find that it is more comfortable, although it does not deflect all of the wind. I find it possible to duck behind it to deflect even more (especially when passing big semi trucks). This windscreen is by no means meant for touring, however it does an excellent job getting to the twisties.
