Givi 447FZ Top Case Support Brackets Kawasaki Versys 650 2006-2009
Nice Rack :)
Seriously though, this is a well designed and durable product. The fit on my 2009 Versys was perfect. The finish is excellent. Took about an hour to install with standard hand tools.

I am super glad I got this. I looked at less expensive alternatives but this seems perfect and looks very good. All that was needed to install was about 30 minutes, a socket wrench kit, allen wrench set, and two kinds of screwdrivers. Just make sure you don't tighten everything down til you get the last piece connected. Now that it's on it's not trying to come off. I haven't got the side bags yet but they're next up after I graduate from school.

Ike V: This is a required item to be able to mount the tail bag on my motorcycle. Givi has a good reputation and I have a buddy that has a Givi tail bag on his bike and loves it.Aug 21, 2013
A shopper asked:Hello everybody, I have a 2007 Versys 650 and I'm planing to get a givi trekker 46 top case. Is this bracket the only thing I need to install the top case? and If yes it will fit my model?
RevZilla:For a 2008 Verseys, there are several different kits available that can be used to achieve different mounting setups. If you want to use a top case, you will need the 447FZ Topcase Monorack Sidearms and a corresponding plate. If you are going to use a Monolock case on the top you will need the M5M Monolock Plate for FZ series Topcase racks. If you are going to use a Monokey case on the top you will need the M5 Monokey Plate for FZ series Topcase Racks. For the side cases, you would want to use the PL447 system, which will allow you to mount any Monokey case except the V35 side cases. If you want to mount the V35 cases, you would need the PLX447 system. Finally, if you want to be able to mount the side cases without having the top case Monorack sidearms installed you would need the PLX447kit plus either side case system.
On a related note, the universal plate that is included with Monolock cases is designed to work with a existing luggage rack on your bike. The universal plate has all kinds of holes in it so that the user can line up this plate over their existing luggage rack. Once the mounting location has been determined, simply go to the hardware store and collect the appropriate length/size bolts and nuts needed to tighten down the plate to the luggage rack. The user should now be able to mount their Monolock case to their existing luggage rack. Similarly, if you have a Monokey case that you want to mount to your existing luggage rack, you would need the E250 Monokey Universal Adapter plate (which is not included with the case).
