GET THE SW-MOTECH INSTEAD!
Three HUGE buyer-beware points on this:
As the fitment notes make clear, you have to cut two holes in your rear body work to make this work. Make sure you never want to take this rack off again before you take this irreversible step.
Even after you've done this, the install is a pain in the butt -- taking the rear body work off involves numerous bolts, plus those awful plastic pop-in rivets. You have to use the holes you cut in the body work to thread through two strangely angled metal pieces, which is a pain in and of itself.
The installation depends on having the STOCK rear fender in place--it's where two big metal brackets attach. If you've installed a fender eliminator, you'll be left with some missing parts. I went ahead and did it anyway, and I don't think that stability will be an issue, but it can be worrisome.
In the end, if I had to do it all over again, I probably would have spent the extra $50 to get the SW-MOTECH rack. (http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sw-motech-alu-rack-top-case-rack-yamaha-fz-07-2015). The lines are cleaner, it doesn't require you to remove any body work or cut any holes, and it can be used as-is with a fender eliminator.
