PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BEGIN WORK!
Clean surface thoroughly to remove residue and oils. On new plastics, use brake cleaner or carburetor cleaner to remove plasticizers from surface - alcohol and household cleaners will not work
Work in warm area with warm vinyl sheets. Use hair dryer to warm sheets if needed
Use razor blade knife to trim sheet to shape
In spray bottle add 1 drop liquid dish soap to 16 ounces of warm water
Spray solution onto bike plastic/bodywork and onto both sides of vinyl sheet
Place wet vinyl sheet onto plastic/bodywork and float into place
Gently squeegee water and bubbles out from under vinyl sheet. Start with fingers, then use a folded piece of this header card to finish
Wait 4-6 hours before riding to allow moisture to evaporate. Gently work out any remaining bubbles
works as advertised
Used this to create a custom tank pad. Did not want to cover the stripe in my factory paint with a colored or Carbon Fiber tank pad. Does its job, got to create the perfect size, and it has held up great thus far. No discoloring or fading from being in direct sun light. If you are using this to protect paint or plastics from bags, luggage, boots and scuffs on plastics/paint, this will more than do the trick.

Does exactly what it advertises.
Takes a little effort to apply without air bubbles underneath. Fast learning curve though.

Demetrios V asked:Is it flexible so I can use it to protect the tank from my jacket zipper from scratching it?Dec 4, 2014
Pete P:The film is clear and will protect your tank. I have read it protects painted surfaces as well as plastic. I warmed mine up with a hair drier and used a little soapy water to help with positioning it. I didn't put any on my tank I just put it on my side panels. Be careful not to touch the glue side of the film as your fingerprints will show.Apr 4, 2014
