shipped fast. appears to be as advertized, although i havent had a chance to put it in use. a friend recommended this product, plus I've seen it in many adventure mags. April 6, 2015
Quality from GL ... always I ditched the OEM hard cases on my 650gs Sertao and replaced them with these. Leave them on my bike. A great product! And of course Revzilla always rox! March 2, 2015
the best this bag is by far the best option I have seen for comfort, durability, function, and capacity February 16, 2015
Very impressed I have had my eye on Giant Loop bags for a while, the time finally seemed right for me to validate spending the money. They are expensive, but I am the type of person who likes to purchase quality items and have them for a long time. This bag does not disappoint. The outer "bomb shell" is extremely thick and tough, the inner waterproof bags make packing smart. The inner bags made me re-think how I pack the bike and what I bring. I considered getting the larger version but settled on the coyote and am happy I did. I packed everything I needed plus gas on my DRZ and I could have been gone a week. I actually found I overpacked a bit for a 3 day trip. My only suggestion is that the inner straps to hold the fender hooks either be longer or sew in metal loops, it's a bit of a chore to get those straps tight with the little bit to pull on. All and all great luggage option and I love that it can go from bike to bike. It's expensive but extremely nice quality and MADE IN THE USA, H3LL yeah, vote with your dollars people. November 4, 2014
This bag is not just for adventure riders!!!!! This bag is the best piece of gear I bought this year. Note to all those people out there who did not buy this because they don't ride an enduro or off road bike: I ride a Triumph Bonneville, and this bag fits perfectly in every way. My pipes are low, and I don't even need to use the heat shield. This bag is well made, rugged, the pods are great, and the size is perfect for those who travel light. Another note: I also purchased the Wolfman Rolie Dry bags in medium and small, some extra straps, and they lash right on to the top of the Coyote. I will get many years out of this! October 23, 2014
Rugged and Easy Quick note, I bought at a local store in Oregon at same price, if it hadn't been available local I would have bought here no doubt, same price. I did enjoy the fact that it is a local Oregon product. Had a hard time finding decent 'saddle' luggage for my 07 Ducati S2R1000 Monster. It has tall side exhaust that really makes most saddlebag luggage useless. This guy fits on my bike very well, sits on the bike like a passenger in a way. Due to it's shape, it doesn't lean on my exhaust at all. Able to get week's worth of clothing, liter bottle of water, pair of shoes, and tools easy with room to take off layers. About an hour in light rain, the inside of the bag was slightly moist, not soaked in any way really. Everything in dry bags was fine. I should have spent the time using the included seam sealer, I'm sure that would have kept it completely dry inside. Fit was pretty easy, tons of places to strap down on my bike. A few rides was all it took to really nail it down. Seems expensive but maybe I'm just being cheap, I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of it. October 17, 2014
Easy install and tough as nails I've had several panniers, cases, boxes, etc. This is by far the easiest to use. The zipper is a little tight and it takes practice filling the pods (not over filling) and packing them in the saddlebag. One of the best attributes over normal side cases is the width. When riding off road side cases are bulking and the Coyote stays in place and doesnt increase your bikes width. I will use this saddlebag on a few of my adventure bikes. September 30, 2014
Good Versatile Bag! Works as advertised - Looks good and rugged. Well thought out attachment points and keeps heavy items low on the bike. You know what they say - a picture is worth a thousand words. It is rather expensive compared to a lashed on dry bag - the only reason I rated it down on "Bang for the Buck" I haven't had it long but it looks and feels like it would take a beating... Dry sacks and heat sheild work well. May 19, 2014

A shopper asked: I have a 1200 GSA and a KTM 500 EXC. Would this bag fit both? Sep 14, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
craig o: I too have both a GSA and 500 EXC. It will fit both. You need to keep it away from the exhaust on the KTM. I wanted to keep it further back as I am tall. But that got the giant loop too hot. The one heat shield that was provided would not keep the giant loop off the end piece of the muffler. The high temperature of the muffler exhaust cap area meant I had to allow the giant loop to be on the seat. Sep 14, 2015

Jim M: Thanks Craig! Good to know before you buy! Sep 14, 2015
Stephen P: The KTM, yes. The 1200? I'm not sure but I imagine it will. It's a pretty simple nylon webbing system to hold the bags in place. There are clips which are used to hook over plastic fairings more commonly found on dirtbikes/enduro bikes. I'm sure you could make it work. Sep 15, 2015

jamie n: Should work just fine, I have a DRZ 400 and KTM 990, it's a bit snug on the 990 but works, the wider adventure seats push the base curve a bit. it's just easier to get things in and out of the bag on the DRZ with the thinner seat. Sep 15, 2015

A shopper asked: Will this mount to a KTM dirt bike with no tail rack, just plastic fender? Jul 31, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
craig o: If you keep it forward (on the seat) it will not melt. The exhaust heat deflector didn't keep the bag from the exhaust in my case. I am very tall and wanted the Giant Loop off the seat. The exhaust on my 2014 500 EXC runs very hot and I haven't found anything that I can place against the outlet area that doesn't melt or catch fire. Jul 31, 2015

Stephen P: Yeah, my friend has a KTM 300 and 450 that it mounted to without issue. I had no issue mounting to my Yamaha 450. Jul 31, 2015

A shopper asked: Is this the 2014 Coyote model? Aug 1, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Cheryl M: Yes, that looks like the Coyote. The Great Basin is much bigger and fatter. If you are thinking of getting one, DO IT! They are fantastic. One other non-advertised feature: it fits on a Triumph Bonneville like it was designed for it. I bet it would fit on other standard bikes as well. Aug 1, 2014

A shopper asked: Will the Coyote bag fit a BMW F800GS Adventure, which has pannier racks? Or do the pannier racks need to come off? Aug 25, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Oscar T: I bought this saddlebag for my 2010 F650 GS. My bike has no racks so I could not check on this but being a flexible bag, I can't see you not being able to fit the bag to the 800GS with the racks. Aug 25, 2014

A shopper asked: Do you need pannier racks to mount this? I have a DRZ400 with a tail rack Jun 20, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Peter C: you don't need pannier racks to mount this bag. it will just drape over your seat and rest on the side plates. your tail rack might get in the way a little bit but I have a tail rack on mine and it still works. it's a very well built bag. Jun 21, 2014
