This port mount is fantastic! Installation was super easy and you can put it anywhere with an inch of clearance behind it. I was able to hide it on the side cover under the corner of the seat. It is almost unnoticeable and it keeps the wires from rubbing around on painted surfaces. If you have Gerbings and are tired of fighting with wires, buy this kit!

This cleans up the problem of having a cord hanging out. nice piece and the right angle coiled cord fits great with no excess flopping around.

Gives you a clean way to put the jack for heated gear on your bike, without a wire hanging out from under your seat.
Not shown in the description is this fitting has a short pig tail on the inside, that a standard (included) garbing 12v hookup plugs into. No soldering required.

I purchased the Gerbings heated jacket liner, controller, and the port. The port simply wires to the battery and find a convenient spot to drill for the port. The entire process took less that 1/2 hour. having the port gives the heated gear a finished look.

Very easy to install, I have a small enduro and didn't even use the coiled extension cord, so if your bike has an installation point within two feet of the battery you mind as well just order the $15 port instead. I do suppose the extension could be useful though.
