Gerbing 12V Leather Clip Case (Dual/Portable)
Lid does not stay closed
Its a tight fit and may loosen up over time but as new it will not stay closed.

Will work but to small
The case is to small for the unit to fit into it comfortably. The magnetc cllosure will not hold because you can barely bend the flap over the unit itself. Needs some work to be right.

Should be included with controller
This product works as advertised but really should be included with the controller. How else would one hold the shiny black plastic controller? My point is that you have to buy it, everyone does, so why is this a separate product? As a consumer I resent this sort of manipulative behavior - just include it with the controller purchase and don't make me feel like you forced me to pay the extra for some something we both know I have to have.

Hopefully stretching the leather will fix issues
Its a quality made Gerbing product but mine, as well as the ones ordered by my brother and another friend, does not latch or close completely. The magnetic "button" needs to be stretched to close then immediately pops back open. Hopefully some wear will fix the problem.

Leather Clip Case
The clip case is usable, but could be better. Change the magnetic fastener to something that snaps or something that really holds the top flap with the body and won't fly open with the slightest pressure...

Needed Accessory !!
So finally picked the clip and IMO they can definitely do a better job in designing this product !! The leather pouch is way to hard and does not sit to comfortably when you are riding and it tends to be a bit of a nuance.

The snap on case is too flimsy. It does not stay closed.
Bad snap!!!!!!! Snap does not stay closed. The controller fits in the case nicely.

Great in theory, not very practical
I have two bikes so I wanted to buy one controller to swap between the two and this pouch seemed like the ideal solution. In theory that would work out however...
Remember you are riding in the cold so you will have jacket on. Not all riding pants have a belt loop so there is that. In addition, most jackets extend past the belt so you cannot see the LEDs and tell when they are blinking red and need to be reset and it is very cumbersome to reach under your jacket and adjust. I tried puting it on a belted jacket but that was also cumbersome and the cables looping around it tend to get in the way.
I instead ordered a second dual controller and fastened it to the bike with some velcro and zip ties and will uninstall it in the summer months. Keep in mind that doing this requires you to buy two oc the coiled cables. in order to reach your jacket. However, this was a lot more practical and the LEDs are visible with a quick glance and theknobs are easy to adjust.
