Kind of expensive for what it is
Having spent a lot of money for the Gerbings jacket, gloves and dual controller, I felt somewhat aggrieved to have to shell out more for this case. It is useful to keep the controller within easy reach and seems robustly made. As others have said the latch is useless - Velcro would be better. The case should be included with the controller.

Will not stay closed.
The control fits nice in this case. The clip on the back is strong and can be hung without fear of it coming lose. The Magnetic clip the closes the flap over the controller DOES NOT WORK. It will not stay closed. My concern is that when the material starts to stretch that the clip will let go and the controller will fall out.

Poor Quality Control
While nicely made, the case was either too small or the material(s) were not cut correctly because the flap will not stay closed, either because the magnets are too weak or because the overall fit of the cover is too tight.

perfect fit
Easy to reach controls, belt clip a plus. Also can clip onto pocket. serves its purpose in spades

It works very well.
The Gerbing's Leather Clip Case is very well made and protects the controller nicely while it's sturdy clip keeps it where you've mounted it. A snap instead of the little magnet to ho hold it closed would be the only suggestion for improvement that I have.

Great idea, could use so work
I'll have to agree with other reviews on here. The item serves its purpose well but the magnetic clip needs to be reworked. If you just barely bump the flap the magnet gets knocked loose. It really should be a snap or a good piece of velcro. The controller can't fall out of the case due to the wires passing through it so it's not a danger to the controller. It's more of a nuisance than anything else.

Useful and good value.
The Gerbings leather clip case is the answer to "where am I supposed to put the ### controller?". The latch is lame and doesn't stay closed but there is no worry of losing it since the wires come out the bottom. The clip is strong enough to keep it attached even at highway speeds. I clip it to the pocket of my jeans or chaps. Without it you either have to put the controller in your pocket where you can't adjust it or see the LED's or let it dangle.
