The Extreme Element pants do a great job keeping your legs warm in very cold temperatures. The pants are heavy duty and will be very durable. However, the fit between the crotch and waist is extremely short and is very difficult to get on/off the bike.

I ordered these pants after purchasing the jacket at a local dealer. The pants fit well and allow plenty of movement to get on and off the bike. They produce enough heat to enable me to ride comfortably in 35 degree weather. No cold and achy knees.

Everything Gerbing makes is totally high quality and warm, but these pants fit horrible. They taper at the ankles so they don't really fit over my ride boots. I could see that they would be more effective for heating being inside the boot, but there is too much material for that and it'd look dorky. I would be nice if they were split from the knee down into a liner and a boot-cut shell. If tooth the liner and shell had a full side zip/velcro you could wear the liner in or out of the boot and still have normal fitting pants on. The other thing I found was the crotch is too low and makes it hard to step over the bike.

All I can say is WOW!!! Plug 'em in and instant heat. Easy to get in and out of and definitely quality materials. I have had a heated jacket liner for years, but these really made a difference in comfort due to cold weather. I think I am going to get the matching jacket.

I just tried Gerbings heated gear, and now I own not only the Extreme Element pants, but also the LT jacket, gloves, and insoles. It's the best heated gear out there, and I can kick myself for not buying Gerbings 2 seasons ago. Makes a huge difference riding in cold weather and has extended my riding season by a good 3 months a year. Keep in mind that the gloves and jackets run true to size, but the pants run a little large: my size 34 relaxed fit waist only needed a size SM in these pants (I wear size LG in Scorpion pants and size 36 in Alpinestar A-10 pants for reference). Worth every penny, especially since you can now laugh at whatever cold weather mother nature throws at you.
Yes, I recommend this product.

These just feel good. They feel like they were put together with purpose, unlike my other pants I've used. Plus, when I tested them at full heat, I began to cook myself ^_^
